I think I am still a little iffy on the gas chambers, soap and lampshades.
From a quick skim of info from the nikvor site and a few revisionist one's it really rely's on witness testimony to prove the case and minimal physical evidence to create the official story.
The revisionists claim the testimony is not valid because of torture and the blame game within German ranks. If zyklon b is also a accepted delousing agent then I can agree that to be questionable. Never studied this topic with full seriousness, only accepted on faith a couple of lines in history books and movies for the official story as fact.

Is there anywhere I can be guided for a detailed study of how the Germans actually did it?

The nizkor site looks pretty good. I don't know of any resources that organize things well, but it shouldn't be too difficult to find. As long as the resources you use are backed by source material, you should be able to get a good idea of how it worked. I wouldn't trust anything that isn't supported by historical documents, preferably more than 1.

lxskllr- sorry to have dismissed your nizkor links. I did just now read them. The whole topic is very interesting, it's like an enigma, as it's wrapped in conspiracy, propaganda, and truths as well.

I suspect it's something we may never really know, as we personally were not there, and the information, from all sides, I think, are tainted with some agenda and bias. I suspect aspects of it all have truths.

Obviously the whole even was a terrible one, but as many have pointed out, it was not the only terrible event in history. And it does seem to have been exploited as well by a political agenda group and a certain "state", as well as a heavy influence on laws of freedom in many nations.

Whether fully true, or partially true, it's examination, as well as expression of conflicting findings and views, should all be given protection of freedom. Suppression and oppression only gives credence to a sinister conspiracy.

No one denies "bad things" happened. The full extant of these "bad things" though, do get debated, and not only from the revisionists, the official plaque at Aushwitz used to say 4 million, then was officially changed to 1.5 million. The "gas chamber" there as well, is a known post war "recreation". So, if anything, "it" may be true in some regards, but it's obviously been a manipulated "truth".

I get what toms saying. While the evidence for the extermination of jews vastly outweighs the evidence that it did not occur, it was likely exadurated. Ive real all those links and im not really convinced, but it could be possible there was no genocide order. Instead it may have been a "make them pay, big time" order that was never written down. It seems hitler was cruel to all of his enemies, from political dissedents, to retards or jews.

Im still convinced it happened, because to me the numbers dont matter. Just because there have been other tragedies does not make this any less of a tragedy. Loss of human life on that scale, though not unusual in human history, is something we should all moarn.


And really it was war, and in my opinion, war is a no holds bar all out race to victory and the loss of human life en masse is sort of the point. I mean, is brutally killing other humans for one reason or another not sort of the object of the exercise? Whether you kill a man on the battlefield or lock him in a cage before you kill him, its kind of all the same in times of war. Making up silly rules like the geneva conventions is really just a way to try to shine a positive light on something that is not positive, to make acceptable something that should not be acceptable.



That being said, war is the final determination of any conflict and the victor keeps the spoils. Israel fights well and therefore i think they should keep their land. Like afghanistan, we must realize when were beat. Thats why i laugh at the mexicans who think we are going to give back texas, its just not going to happen. I wouldnt expect it to be any different with israel.
