        Lets hope he is wrong...

I talk to so many people who are Libertarian and dont even know it. I wish that party would actually get someone in office for a change. If we dont swing that direction we will eventually succumb to a more socialist government. At that point I would probably just move to Sweden, if I have to live with a socialist government I want my snus dammit!

Same thing George Wallace said. "On the road to socialism", because the National Guard
escorted 2 black kids into a school.

George Wallace for President 1968 Campaign Brochure

              CONSTITUTIONAL GOVERNMENT
George C. Wallace is the undisputed leader in the fight for personal and property rights, and against excessive taxation and the takeover of personal rights by the "great society."
He believes in victory over Communism and Socialism at home and abroad.

              Reagan expanded Medicare

              Another hypocrite

              http://www.larrydewitt.net/Essays/Reagan.htm
              The Reagan Myth and Medicare

Throughout his presidency, Ronald Reagan displayed a disconcerting tendency to prefer performance over reality and myth over historical fact. As Reagan recalled his own personal history in 1980, he had never been an opponent of Medicare and had never advocated making Social Security voluntary. To President Carter’s claims that he had in fact opposed both Medicare and the existing Social Security system, Reagan’s flip reply was “There you go again,” and that was pretty much the end of the issue.

I think he is continuing the trend to ruin our country, but to be fair this has been a long time coming. National debt started to soar in the early 80s and never looked back.

                          You have a point.

At least with Bush, you know where you stood. With this other clown in office, you have no clue what to expect.

Maybe someone can help me with this: Bush spends like 10 trillion on a war and Obama spends like 1 trillion on trying to revive the economy, but our children will be paying for Obama's hope and change?
