While the world is burning, olbermann and msnbc are dedicating all of their news coverage to smearing fox and other republican pundits or bringing us breaking news on whether or not Lindsey Lohan started using coke again. I mean really, why does Olbermann care what Rush Limbaugh is doing, is Rush an elected public figure? I don't get all the bickering between pundits, maybe that shit would fly on a slow news day, but right now theres enough real breaking news on oil spills, economic collapse, 2 wars etc that should be getting the attention right now.

If I had a nationally syndicated radio show listened to by tens of millions like Rush or a marginally successfull political TV news/commentary show like Olbermann, I would not waste my time talking about how Joe223 one time used vicodin or how he probably doesn't like midgets, I would be talking about how ROME IS BURNING AND THE END IS NEAR!

Stem Cell Research could be the largest medical breakthrough to date if we can refine it. I don't like the idea of using fetuses, though if a fetus is already going to be aborted I don't see the problem with recycling it into a productive and life saving medium of hope for people with ailments all around the country. I have not been good to my body over the years, I am banking on stem cell research to bail me out!!!! lol.


Plus, over time the need for fetal stem cells will decrease and we will be able to better utilize other (adult) stemcells more efficiently and be able to treat a wider range of conditions with them, and maybe someday even make synthetic stemcells.


They should piss everyone off by renaming the stem cell funding projects to Project "Tower of Babel". That should get the issue brought to center stage.
