                    Ron Paul was my 1st choice in 2008, it's a shame more people didn't listen. I don't agree with him on everything but he has my upmost respect and I would vote for him over just about any other yahoo out there.

                        I agree.

                        Who can argue with his logic? States rights is a big one for me.
                        I like smoking pot.
                        I think gay people should be able to marry.
                        I think abortion should not only be legal, but covered under insurance/medicare (Crime prevention in my book).
                        I also think these choices should be made at the state level, not federal.

                            I was really hoping Ron Paul made it out of the primary process last election round. He is probably the only true to his beliefs non-nutjob elected official at the national level. Unfortunately, his ideas make complete and total sense and don't enrich the military-industrial complex and big businesses therefore he will never catch on big. He is a long shot but he would make an exceptional president IMO.

                              i gladly voted for him in '88 and in the primaries in '08. I never thought he stood a chance in '08, but he got people thinking and talking and that is an important step.
