        Don't know what that idiot eats and drinks but it has made him extremely fat, fatally stupid, and incredibly boring. He's the sort that makes nasty ad hominem insults impossible to resist.

            I can't believe anyone still has a problem with the arizona law after all the myths of racism and all that were dispelled. Even the whitehouse knows they have no basis to claim the law has any racist elements to it. All the law is, is allowing state police to enforce federal immegration, and by "enforce" it means they have the right to send people's information to the feds under section 8 of the fed law used to identify citizenship. So it's allowing cops to run people's citizenship records if they are involved in a crime, USING EXISTING FEDERAL PROCEDURES. It's not lik AZ cops are going to be judge, jury, and executioner or something. They are using established procedures used by the feds for nearly 70 years.

            Look, get over it, Obama is tougher on immegration than Arizona. This was news to me but I applaud it and it makes me have much more confidence in the man after learning that. To say the arizona law is racist would be like calling Obama racist, because HIS measures are way tougher than Arizona's. And furthermore, Arizona has already been tackling illegal-immegration for a long time before this law came into effect. They've deported 24,000 already this year even without this law. All this law does it make it easier for the state troopers and the federal immegration agencies to work together and make a coordinated attempt to uphold the law.

              I love it when King presents Moore with the argument that his parents arrived legally, and Moore just stutters and starts babbling nonsense. Sometimes when I am feeling really self righteous I like watching this moron. The weird thing is I have NEVER met ANYONE who admits to believing anything Moore has to say in person, yet his films sell tickets? What rock are these people crawling under?

                    I think we should deport anybody who can't spell immigration.

                            So a judge just overruled parts of the AZ law that was to come into effect tomorrow. Pretty much stripped it of everything that made it a good law, so now we're back to square one and the illegals can continue to overtake and corrupt Arizona.

                            Regardless, this is only an interim order, with the legality of SB 1070 to be determined after a full-blown trial.

                            The following provisions were removed from the law:

                            • Requiring a police officer to make a reasonable attempt to check the immigration status of those they have stopped;
                            • Forbidding police from releasing anyone they have arrested until that person's immigration status is determined;
                            • Making it a violation of Arizona law for anyone not a citizen to fail to carry documentation;
                            • Creating a new state crime for trying to secure work while not a legal resident;

                            Sometimes I wonder how these judges come to their conclusions. It's been federal law for 70 years that anyone who is not born here and is here on a visa or something is required to have their immegration paperwork on their person. So how does this law get overturned but not the federal law?

                            And why would a judge overturn something that "makes it a crime to try to secure work if you illegaly in the country". What is wrong with our judges? Why does america have to have shitty laws and all the other countries get the good ones. Why is it unreasonable to say that if you don't get your documentation first, you cannot work here. Is it such a human rights violation to ask that people have a social security number and a name (as opposed to stealing someone elses SS # and using an alias).

                            There is no hope. **** it, let mexico take back the country, after enough time they will turn the tables and make whites like Michael Moore their slaves, so at least there is some silver lining in all this.

                            WHAT PROVISIONS STAY IN THE LAW:

                            It is still illegal to transport an illegal immigrant
                            It is illegal to pick up an illegal immigrant at home depo for work

                            However, there was 1 big win: They told Obama's lawyers that they were wrong in their claim that laws such as this are preempted by federal law (which is why the admin took this to court in the first place). So +1 for states rights.

                            Bolton rejected arguments by attorneys for the Department of Justice that other sections of SB 1070 are preempted by federal law.
