ok, so here's at least the full tune - the sync goes a bit out near the end (or at least it almost sounds like it) -- not sure if that's the pace picking up a bit in the recording or if there were some more edits I couldn't hear (I fixed one of them ).

Anyway, I switched the snare to a rimshot, softened the ride, and did a bit more polishing, but not too much. Didn't want to pollute the tune with too much crap...I have a bad habit of making tunes too, er, busy

That was brilliant. Really, it was. Think I could post it on my music page? What would you like your credit title to be? "Remix by Zero" or do you want your full name or what?

I really liked it though, man. Very well done. I has a nice little groove to it.

Well, feel free to criticise too, dude  I was thinking of it more as a demo - something you could (and should) feel totally free to direct. I'll drop you a PM, we can chat about it, maybe. Otherwise, yeah, feel free to use it for whatever you want. I don't think "Engineered by" ever makes it much further out than the backside of page 14 in the liner notes, so nevermind credits

Tremendous. Glad you like it, man. Let me know your favorites when you've got any, if you've got any.

In other news, I took a few days off from the internet and wound up writing a new, 10 song concept album. Isolation can work wonders on the writing muscle.

                Xobe:

Soft Morning, City! is slowly becoming a band. I have a lead electric guitar player now and I'm still on acoustic guitar and vocals. We found a drummer and we're just teaching him the songs at present. Therefore, my solo material is now under the moniker Hard Evening, Suburb! and will be from this point forward. Distinctions, distinctions...

www.myspace.com/softmorningcity has two songs from our new five track demo. One is an original song ("Stick To My Slip") and the other ("I Went Outside") is a cover of a Jandek song. It originally appeared on his first a'capella album Put My Dream On This Planet. Highly recommended if you're into... odd music.

www.myspace.com/hardeveningsuburb is my solo project. Six songs are posted, one song from each of the six albums I currently have available for purchase. Two more albums are due out soon, one in mid-May and one in June or July.

I self release all of my stuff. If anybody is interested, let me know. I sell it all at fairly inexpensive prices. I'm selling the five song demo for four bucks (price includes postage anywhere in the United States. If you live elsewhere and want a copy, contact me and I'll figure out how to get a copy to you).

Thanks for the bump, Xobe. I work mostly in obscurity (I haven't sold a single copy of any of the Hard Evening, Suburb! discs), but the attention is greatly appreciated. Snus on, brother.
