There is no conspiracy theory or anything here, just theoretical physics. Being theoretical, they may or may not work out in the end, but any of the theories being discussed here are entirely more credible than pipe dreams about rogue planets colliding with earth in 2012 or an ancient alien race coming back to save us.

This is a topic that has always fascinated me. The best explanation for explaining time travels potential is this:

We only see in the 3rd dimension. Think of a map of the earth. Point to a spot and that is it. An address in the 3rd dimension would be "The corner of Lexington and 4th street"

Now, add in the potential of the 4th dimension (time) and it's simply a matter of this: "The corner of Lexington and 4th street at 4pm on January 3rd 1701"

I've often wondered if our inability to see continuity of time is the only thing holding us back. A further thought is this: "I'm going over to Grandpa's house to visit him" versus "I am going over to Grandpa's house to visit him in 1955"

I do wonder if time can be split up and divided into a corollary thought of location/destination. I tend to think of it as a road. We can travel the length of the road if we choose. What if time is similar?

Incorrect. You are confusing time travel with relativity.

I see what you're saying here. Although the person "effectively" travels into the future, he hasn't "jumped" across/along time into the future. Still, if someone wanted to take advantage of the relative effects of time and see what life is like in the future, accelerating to near the speed of light sounds like the "easiest" way to go.

Time travel is based on physics theories and can be proved either possible or not via math, things such as an artificial moon, nibiru, life on mars, hollow earth or a nazi base have not even 1 single fact behind them, no math, and no supporting evidence of any size, shape or form.


Nazi base: the nazi's could not have had a base up there. Who the **** would resupply them. Also, the technology did not exist, nor does it currently exist, to have a sustained colony on the moon, especially in the absence of constant supplies drops. Not a single picture has ever been taken of said base, even though we've imaged every single inch of the moon.

Hollow earth: Geology proves this one as false right off the bat. Plus the fact that the earth could not exist if hollow. That is not how things workd.

Nazi flying saucers: If nazi’s had flying saucers, they would not have lost the war so disgracefully. Having technology of that type would ensure victory to anyone who possessed it, even in today’s day and age. Hitler didn’t have them, because if he did he would have used them instead of locking the door in his bunker and shooting himself like the coward he was.

Life on mars: There is some evidence that microbial, methane emitting life may exist on mars. However, any flora/fauna on mars would have long since been discovered. Both the footprint something like that leaves in the chemical composition of the atmosphere as well as the visual evidence of it’s existence could not go unnoticed for very long.

Artificial moon: The moon is not artificial, and hundreds of specimens from the surface have been recovered both by man and robot, and analyzed in minute detail. It is not fake and there is not even the slightest shred of evidence of any type to say that it is.

Coming of Nibiru: I’ve gone over this before with you; a planet of that size would not be able to get here by 2012 if it was sitting outside of the visible solar system. It would have to travel at atom splitting speeds to reach us in the next 2 years. We would observe both it and the footprint it’s gravitational pull leaves behind on the surrounding planetary bodies if it were coming here (or even existed in the first place).

So while both of us may be discussing topics of fantasy, your fantasy exists on poorly researched internet websites arguing for long debunked concepts, while my fantasy exists in the minds of some of the planets leading scientists in every specialty from quantum mechanics to theoretical physics and beyond.

Yes, relative to us observers on earth, someone could "travel in time" if we could create the right conditions. However, anything they discovered on the other side would be irrelivant to us, since it would take far too many lightyears for the information to reach us. If we could solve quantum communication than perhaps we could establish a method of communicating over such vast distances that didn't involve a 1,000 year time delay between transmissions. I think this is the closest "real world" type of time travel we will see in the next few thousand years though, and could be used to our benefit if we could crack the communication problem (oh, and the whole traveling faster than light thing). But who knows, everything seems to be advancing so fast nowadays. The singularity is near!

Tom, stop hailing Hitler man. Even if you think national socialism is something we should persue, Hitler was not a good guy, or a particularly smart one. Just good at herding the massed, which most sociopaths are capable of doing. His scientists were the reason he had any posibility of victory and most of what hitler did/ordered done were bad things. Truthfully the man was pure evil and whether you believe in the holocaust or not (god, we're going here again), Hitler was not a person to aspire to, and certainly not someone I would want governing the country. I am half puerto rican and half norwegian, I am married to a philipino girl, and my mother studies Judaism and Kabbalah. People like me and my family would be killed under the rule of a man such as hitler for no reason other than being the way God made us.

The Hitler phenomena is such an interesting one. It's really interesting how people's thought and beliefs are controlled and manipulated by the controlled media.

I don't praise Hitler, I can give you a list of his personal, as well as policy flaws, as I see them. Though I do like idealism, and I think we don't have that much these days, nor do we have manliness. Everything is so PC indoctrinated, people are too uptight, and take everything so serious, in today's world.

Equally as misdirecting as the controlled media is the other side, the side that wishes to convince you of the opposite that the controlled media wants you to think. Sometimes this can be good and sometimes this is bad. Just like sometimes it is good to ignore the controlled media, it is also sometimes good to ignore the other side (those who would have you believe America is the worst country on the planet, and that you should embrace Islam and hate jews etc).
