    End of the world!

I was always thinking the end date was Dec 2012, based on many things.

Now I find out it's much sooner.

This web site serves as an introduction and portal to four faithful ministries which are teaching that WE CAN KNOW from the Bible alone that the date of the rapture of believers will take place on May 21, 2011 and that God will destroy this world on October 21, 2011

It's about time! I feel privileged that I will bear witness to hordes of locust and the gnashing of teeth. I'll shake the Pale Rider's hand, if he doesn't chop mine off first. At least God will finally take his "chosen ones" back home and I'll have a few months of peace and happiness before he destroys it all.

Or I'll wake up on the morning of October 22, drag my ass out of bed, and continue to run on this hamster wheel. You know, I always feel like Bill Murray in Groundhog Day.

      It does all add up:
      Obama
      Pact
      FDA Warning labels
      New gas cans

      Yep, it's the end.

Tom, i'd just like to point out that the bible has been used to predict the end of the world for millenia now and so far none of it's dozens and dozens of predictions have been true. The last big hype was that the world was going to end in 1998 or something, but it never came. Of all the hundreds of thousands of end of the world predictions derived from religious texts, not one of them has ever been correct. Bible "end of world" predictions are 0 for a million so far, so I wouldn't be so sure this time around.

It's man not the Bible that have been wrong about the end of time.

            Matthew 24:36 (King James Version)
But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

Right, but what i'm saying is that the bible itself doesn't give a date and time for the end (as noted in the verse you quoted), so i'm not sure how people keep getting dates which (coincidently) just so happen to usually be a year or two in the future.

I remember as a high school kid talking to a Jehovah witness who said unless I convert I will not be accepted into God's guarded complex. This was where people had the best living quarters and jobs.

Not sure where they get them either.

Well, if you read the links I provided, they do explain how they get the date, and why the verse about no one knowing is not fully right.
I'm not a believer, but they do explain their method.

What was it being guarded against?
