Sounds like someone else remembers the Kennedy to Johnson era.

I recently saw a car with a bumper sticker that said: We should all pray for Obama. Psalm 109:8

So you don't have to google it, Psalm 109:8 says......May his days be few; may another take his place of leadership.

              "I was disappointed there wasn't a cake"

No birthday cake for Obama as Secret Service steps in

WASHINGTON (AFP) – US President Barack Obama said Wednesday his security staff put the kibosh on a birthday cake that was to be offered by union leaders for his 49th birthday.

Obama, who spoke at an AFL-CIO labor federation meeting in Washington, said that "it's good to spend my birthday with some good friends," but that "the Secret Service nixed the cake."

AFL-CIO president Richard Trumka had offered the US head of state birthday wishes and said the powerful labor group wanted to provide a cake for the occasion.

"I was disappointed there wasn't a cake," Obama said. Referring to the Secret Service detail that protects the leader around the clock, Obama said: "They're probably eating it right now."

His celebration may be a muted affair as First Lady Michelle Obama and youngest daughter Sasha are vacationing in Spain, while older daughter Malia is away at summer camp.

Spokesman Robert Gibbs said Obama would be in Chicago later Wednesday and would have dinner with friends.

Why would I believe a devotee to The Vril Society such as yourself?

Bill Ayers is a hero that helped shut down The Vietnam War.
A war that claimed over 50,000 American lives.
I'd like to see how you would have felt if you had been
                    draft age back then.

If the draft were in effect today and you opposed a given
war what would you do? Serve in a war you don't support?
Go to Canada and dodge the draft? Or protest by any means
                    necessary to stop the killing?

By "protest by all means", you mean blowing up buildings right? Because killing innocents is much more valiant and honorable than fighting a foreign army apparently.

Yes it is when it's an undeclared, illegal war that is drafting all 18 year old males.
50,000 Americans dead and hundreds of thousands Vietnamese, including
                          innocent villagers bombed with napalm.

For some reason Nixon pulled out. I wonder why? Could it have been
the SDS, Weather Underground and the 1,00,000 protesters that
                          surounded the White House?

Opposition to the U.S. involvement in the Vietnam War

                          http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Opposit...he_Vietnam_War

Opposition to United States involvement in the Vietnam War is significant because it was the first time a war was shown and accessed through to the public in the United States.

The protests gained momentum from the Civil Rights Movement that had organized to oppose segregation laws, which had laid a foundation of theory and infrastructure on which the anti-war movement grew. Protests were fueled by a growing network of independently published newspapers (known as "underground papers") and the timely advent of large venue rock'n'roll festivals such as Woodstock and Grateful Dead shows, attracting younger people in search of generational togetherness.

I *believe*...as far as the US breaking up, it would've been at that time.

Well, I'm somewhat taking the devil's advocate side to balance out Glenn Beck
constantly referring to someone's association with Bill Ayers.
