    New guy - lakewood ohio

Hi all, glad to be here!

Just started about a week ago when I saw some triumph snus at the corner store. Anybody try triumph? How does it compare to the swedish brands? Triumph is, by the way, made by swedish match.

EDIT: glad you can edit titles on this board, spelled the name of my town wrong, duh.

First, welcome to the forum! You'll find a lot of useful info in your browsing of this forum.

I haven't tried Triumph, I haven't seen it anywhere near me, and I don't remember seeing it on buysnus. If memory serves I think someone on here posted that the original portions were OK, but nothing fantastic.

My guess would be is that it's sweeter than the swedish snus as that's a general American snus trend. I hope you enjoy the snus and if you like Triumph then a world of snus are awaiting you from Sweden .

I have never tried Triumph myself, but there was quite a bit of discussion about it in this thread:

Nice to see another person from Ohio.
Triumph isn't horrible, but it certainly ins't great. I treat it as a last option. I got caught at a buddies house sleeping off a night of drinking to wake up to a level3 snow emergency. I had no snus on me not expecting to be stuck there for almost 2 days. A quick walk down to the nearest gas station and I got myself a can of Triumph to hold me over till I can dig my car out and get some to my can of general.

Hey, isnt this amazing weather? After getting some of the real thing in the mail yesterday, I agree that triumph is a last ditch alternative. I just hope that some american company picks up on the snus trend and decides to market a wider range of alternatives. Where are you in ohio?
I don't have any general, guess I will have to try it. So far ettan is my favorite of the ones I got.

                I'm in Cincinnati.

So far I'm enjoying General, Lucky Strike has become one of my favorites however I haven't tried Ettan yet, maybe in my next order.

                  Triumph and ohio

                  What a chance encounter

                  I'm enjoying Triumph
                  I'm in Ohio too
I was snowed in as well (Ok so were like a million other people)

I have tried and liked Snus before though. General was good and I will probably make a more sample oriented order soon. As for camel brand at least the tins are cool(stuff gave me a headache).

                  Who sells snus in Lakewood?

Theres a convienence store on the corner of detroit and cove that sells triumph. Never tried the camel, though I have been curious about it, at least the triumph is made by swedish match. I much prefer the traditional brands though.

Wasnt that snow amazing? Still recovering from shoveling the drive myself.
Ohioans seem disproportionately represented here, I'd like to beleive thats because were smarter than average Where are you in OH?
