Driving is fun for me when I am not on a schedule. I like road trips with a “we will get there when we get there” vibe and good music…alone or with people I like. Commuting isn’t bad, this “visit to visit” driving on a timeline is for the birds.

I don't mind driving but now a days I hate going any further than the next town. I just don't like to leave the house anymore.
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

I feel like I want that small town experience where the next town is a 10-15 minute drive and the town center is walkable and has good options for groceries and necessities, but with a good public transit option, specifically a regular train service including nights and weekends, 30 min max, to get to the city…a big city. None of that bus crap tho. I hate taking the bus more than a few stops.
