Anybody get a visit from your friendly, government census employee?

They came to my door wanting to know why I only filled out the number of residents in my house and not all the other intrusive personal stuff.

Being the southern gentleman that I am, I calmly explained my reasons.

They came to my old apartment and me and my roommate had to answer questions.. We moved out two weeks later. lol

Yeah, they wanted me to answer questions, but I just kept telling her the number of people in my house was all the info they needed.

The census is for taking a count of the number of people, they don't need my medical history.

They came around to ask why I didn't list a phone number.

Told the guy (who was older than me) that I was too old to
start using any of them newfangled gadgets. He walked away
shaking his head!

I hate the government so much and think the census is useless. The funny part tho is when i was 18 the summer I graduated highschool I took a job as an enumerator. I was so good at getting the info out of people it wasn't even funny. So when they came by this year with these lame explanations and justifications I had a field day. I wasn't sure if the guy was gonna cry or throw a punch...... I was hoping for the latter.

I did as well. I've been avoiding them like the plague. I don't know why. Anyways, this lady had some crazy chest hair. It looked like someone had dumped a basket of curly fries on her. Her chest hair had me so distracted that I ended up answering all of her questions.

All the census workers down here that were going around were hot 20 something year old girls. So I didn't mind talking to 'em.

I still see them going around, saw one the other day in an condo building I was looking to rent.

I can still see those chest hairs like it was yesterday. I was almost mesmerized, kind of like looking at Medusa! All I could think was "Holy sh*t, she must have fallen off the Barnum & Bailey train when it came through town."

I would have much rather had some of your hot floridian census chicks. I'll be sure to fill out my census next time just to avoid having to see that much hair on a woman's chest ever again. Very clever census bureau...very clever.

I didn't fill out my census, but, thankfully, the census workers in my area are good Missourians and they didn't seem to really give a shit.
