I watched it and was fascinated with the wound and that you could see him trying to get air. I mean, I cringed when he went "splat" but I watched the hospital scene twice to get the full idea of what I was looking at. Now you guys are scaring me with all your talk about the video. Have I become that desensitized to horrible injuries? I sent the link to my sister; she's a firefighter/EMT. I guess it will be interesting to see what she says.Comment

The video of the diver in the hospital is also circulating on the net as someone who tried shooting themselves with a 9mm handgun in a failed suicide attempt. I am not sure what really happened but in my own opinion, that injury does not look like it was from a diving accident.Comment

Hitting the edge of the deck below seems more probable to what your looking at than a 9mm. I'm not an injury expert, but I cannot imagine a gun doing that; may look just as gory, but not the same type of injury. Now, if you said it looked like someone came at him with an axe, I could believe that.Comment
