Co-Codamol 8/500 over the counter/non-prescription pain killers now have a prominent warning on the top left hand of the box saying 'CAN CAUSE ADDICTION, FOR 3 DAYS USE ONLY'
Looking at my can of beer 'UK CHIEF MEDICAL OFFICERS RECOMMEND ADULTS DO NOT EXCEED (MEN) 3-4 UNITS PER DAY, (WOMEN) 2-3 UNITS PER DAY. Apparently my pint can of Kroney contains 2.5 units so I guess that's all I'm allowed to have today.
As for the warnings on cigarettes here they're really nasty generally 'SMOKING KILLS' accompanied with a large coloured photo of a diseased body organ.
I wonder what will be targetted next? Maybe 'THIS KEBAB CAN DAMAGE YOUR HEALTH AND IS ADDICTIVE'?
I just shudder to think what kind of warning our government would put on Swedish Snus.
