    Straight Razors Restored by Owens

As promised, here are a couple of the newest straight razors I've been working on. These are pretty much done, ready for a final polish and honing before shipping. There is still some light pitting, super-fine buffing marks, and very light water stains, but you'll never find a 100+ year old straight razor that is flawless. Who knows where these things have been. All are German made Solingen Steel, regarded as the best ever made.

This next one is really nice! I really don't want to sell this one, but kinda could use the funds. Plus if I kept it, the ol' lady would just make me sell one of my others...

This is a T. Hessen-Bruch & Co. 11/16 Round-Point. EXTRA Hollow ground blade, this thing sings when you run your thumb across it! Adjustable pivot pins in front, fixed in back. Original carved black Bakelite scales which match the stamping on the tang. Absolutely no pitting. Nice, deep markings on both sides. Jimps on bottom for better grip. Scales are true, pins are snug, and blade centers. Scales have been cleaned, buffed and hydrated. New wedge in rear. Also have the original box. Honed, stropped, and Shave-Ready.

If interested - $70 SHIPPED anywhere in the USA. PayPal only. SOLD!

Remind me to never ever get on the wrong side of you. I bet you've got assault rifles as well and people boarded up in your walls and, and and everything.

Take for example that Torrey razor - that's not rust.

I'm not man enough to use a straight razor... but I'd like to get a safety razor. Damn disposables ruin my face.

I too had some old Italian-American barbers who'd shave my sideburns and back of my neck. I miss their haircuts.

Hell I don't even use disposables. I have used an electric razor since I got out of the service.

You might be able to talk to Frosted about getting a new safety razor. I believe he has a nice one for sale just make sure you are man enough to shave with it!

Owens- those refinished razors are amazing especially the Torrey 5/8. Nice work and thanks for sharing. It's cool to see old stuff restored to new condition.
