So Vegan, when you gonna make the leap to straights? I know someone who has some for sale . . .
I would love to try it but I am guessing it would double the amount of time I need to shave and time is precious in the morning.

LMAO - I guess I deserved that. It does hurt though coming from a guy who uses cartridges.

I can shave just as fast, if not faster with a straight as I can with a cartridge, or safety razor. You probably wouldn't have the speed at first, but like using lös, it gets more comfortable, and you gain confidence with time. As an added bonus, the blade doesn't clog. You can shave once a month, and it isn't much harder than if you shaved daily.

I need to stay a long ways away from this forum. I always end up with new vices and more stuff to collect .

nice work!! I can appreciate the detail and work you put into them.
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

                  Thanx PP!

Vegan - lx speaks the truth. Now that I've "done it a few times", I can shave my face in less than 2 minutes with a straight.

Funny this pops up... I just got into straight razors recently... I will never use anything but ever again. Best shave of my life.

It's eco-friendly as hell.... No trash, just soap residue going down the drain.

Personally I like the old blades that came from Sheffield, England.

                    Nice restorations by the way.
