In even more important breaking news... McHale's Navy marathon on Nick at Night. Repeat McHale's Navy marathon on Nick at Night.
McHale's Navy has nothing to contribute to our current mess in the world.
Bill Maher may.
Here's a snip:
KING: What kind of intelligent person would believe that?
MAHER: Intelligent person? Larry, we're broadcasting in America.
-------
KING: How out there -- when you say crazy, give me an example.
MAHER: Well, I just think that people -- they understand our country is in a lot of trouble. Even people who are angry understand that crazy people are not going to make it better.
Christine O'Donnell like all these tea baggers has no plan, no agenda. No policy points. They have one advantage. They're running against Democrats. That's their big advantage.
KING: And that's the case.
MAHER: Yes.
KING: What do you make of this whole -- the anti-Obama thing which has gotten kind of, in a sense, crazed? No, he wasn't born here. He's a Muslim. He is against America. What do you make of that fringe?
MAHER: I was talking about it with Jay Leno last night. I suggested maybe he's not even a mammal.
(LAUGHTER)
MAHER: He might be a werewolf, Larry. We don't know that.
KING: That's right. We don't know.
MAHER: I mean it was bad enough when we had these people called the birthers who thought he was not born here.
KING: They're still around somewhere, though.
MAHER: Many of them. Yes. No, they haven't gone away. But I was saying last night that I've identified this new group and I'm calling them the churchers.
KING: The churchers?
MAHER: The churchers. They're the people who don't think that he is a Christian. They think he's --
(CROSSTALK)
KING: He's the first president ever to issue a press release that he is.
MAHER: He's a secret Muslim, Larry. I guess you haven't been paying enough attention.

Now, I know Obama's not been the best president and the Democrats are not the best politicians, but you know what? We elected him just two years ago to fix this massive bunch of problems we have. And because he didn't do it by football season, we are ready to throw him out on the street and bring back the guys who messed it up just two years ago. That's a little too impatient.
Yes, when he got the patient, the patient was bleeding to death. He got the patient to stop bleeding. But, OK, the patient is not up and back at the office quite yet. It's no reason to throw the doctor out and get back the doctor who was using leaches.
KING: Well put. But it is what it is. Right? I mean, we can't --
MAHER: It's not going to get better in our lifetime, I don't think. I don't want to be a downer, but, you know, my great friend Arianna Huffington has a book coming out -- maybe it's out -- called "Third World America." Brilliant. I've been saying that for years. They say, oh Bill, why do you hate America first? I don't hate America. I love America. I want it to be better. The only way we can get it to be better is to realistically criticize what's wrong with it. That's not what the Republicans do.
KING: So we can safely say you're a pessimist.
MAHER: I don't want to be a pessimist. I'm a realist. One man's realist is another man's pessimist. But, no, I'm not like Mitt Romney, whose book is called "No Apology, the Case for American Greatness." Really? Always waving the big foam number one finger; we're not number one in most things. We're number one in military. We're number one in money. We're number one in fat toddlers, meth labs, and people we send to prison. We're not number one in literacy, money spent on education.
We're not even number one in social mobility. Social mobility means basically the American dream, the ability of one generation to do better than the next. We're tenth. That's like Sweden coming tenth in Swedish meatballs.
KING: We're not number one, I think, in life expectancy either.
MAHER: No, we're way. Yes, right, we're like 49th behind Bosnia. The number one cause of death --
KING: So happy, folks, that we could make your night tonight.
"Yes, when he got the patient, the patient was bleeding to death. He got the patient to stop bleeding. But, OK, the patient is not up and back at the office quite yet. It's no reason to throw the doctor out and get back the doctor who was using leaches. "
^^^ This is the lie the democrats hope they can fool America into believing. They want you to forget that they have been in charge since 2007 and yet NOTHING, NOT ONE SINGLE ****ING THING has gotten better. They've had almost 4 years and have only made things worse and worse. And they wonder why no one likes them any more.
They deregulated the investment/financial industry back during clinton, they voted for equal housing, they repealed Glass Stiegl, then they came back in power in 07 and continued to vote for money wasting measures. Now we are out of money and america is pissed, and they want to say it is 100% the republicans fault. They refuse to take credit for the disaster they helped create, along with repbulicans. It's like the republicans shoot a guy, then you grab the gun and shoot him twice, then when the cops come you try and say it was all the republicans fault.
Bill Maher is wrong in that Obama f'n sucks and lived up to none of his promises. But all that is casually dismissed because he didn't have enough time. Sure, that might be true, but he did a lot of damage in 2 years already.

Exactly, maybe Bush didn't have enough time? It's like if Bush had a kid and we elected him instead of Obama. If you noticed that for 2 straight years he was just doing what GWB was doing, wouldn't you be like "No, **** this, he's out, get him out". Would the left be saying "Oh but he didn't get enough time. We have to give him 8 years, even if he messes it up at every step the entire time".
At this point, Americans know what failure looks like, and we aren't going to give people the benefit of the doubt anymore. Obama is out. Next.
Yeah, zionism is disgusting. Anyone who is a zionist places Israel above America, which amounts to $3 billion a year for weaponry and opposition from the Entire World. If you're a zionist you support the settlements:
and this:
(Israelis enjoying the Gaza operation as spectators)
I wish I had a t-shirt that said "I am a zionist" that i could wear around san francisco, just to see the reaction. Then I could make it my avatar just to piss people off lol. Zionism, whatever that means to you, can't be doing that great of a job. They managed to hold a tiny plot of dirt in the middle east and get 3 billion a year from the US. that's pennies. But if the zionists run the US, than why do we give a billion a year to the palestinians in gaza? Isn't that kind fo counter productive? For someone who runs the world, they sure don't get much of anything for it.

Comparing 3 billion of weapons to Israel and perhaps 1 billion of supplies to Palestine is comparing apples to oranges.
We shouldn't be supporting a first-world country with military aid at all, especially when there is no war being fought (except the internal Palestinian conflict). Your tax dollars pay for bullets in dead Palestinians and bulldozers to wreck homes / build Israeli settlements. Yes, 3 billion is a drop in the bucket but with all this crying about big government, we should be able to safely cut that expenditure without harming America.

Even though I don't buy into the "jews run the world" nonesense, I am in complete agreement that we shouldn't be sending money over there. While I can see the strategic value of keeping a well armed allie in the middle east, we just cannot afford it. I don't really support any foreign aid unless in amergency circumstances. Buying a billion dollars worth of condoms for africa or spending $800,000 in stimulis money to study whether or not circumcized africans should wash their shafts.
I'm just saying that if the jews/zionists ran the US or the world, why are they getting so little out of it. They get marginally more than we give to others. Doesn't seem like they run shit.
