I live about one hour from the "Creation Museum" in Ohio. To believe that humans and dinosaurs coexisted is completely contradictory to all empirical scientific evidence and common sense. Creationists represent only a fraction of Christians (thankfully). In matter of fact, I know several Christians who are evolutionists and interpret the stories in the Bible as metaphorical. While I am an Atheist, I can at least respect Christians who have some level of common knowledge, but I feel nothing but pity for those people in the video.

It's sad, but I can't really care anymore. It's impossible to truly win against ignorance.

The reason why it persists is that understanding evolution is a very abstract concept which cannot be observed naturally in complex animals (it takes too long). Of course anyone who questions evolution doesn't realize that we as scientists use random selection as an experimental tool when working with bacteria.

Christians, and Muslims, believe their holy books is the holy word of God, and 100% true and not to be questioned or doubted.

I can't see the video, what does it say? Please say it talks about Jesus riding dinosaurs.

The funny thing about christianity is that it began around a following of jesus. His followers made a compilation of his teaching, much like they did for Confucius. The focus was on his teachings, not on his life. Then, later on the bible was put together (new testament) and it mainly dealt with the history of how the church was formed, and about the life of jesus, with only a very small amount of his teachings. Mainly because a lot of it likely did not jive with the political purposes the kings of the day had in mind for christianity when they established the christian church. Jesus orriginally was seen as a philosopher like Confucius, and his saying and teachings gained a good following, but at one point the powers of the day decided to make him into a god and form an empire around it.

All this crap about 6,00 year old earth can be cleared up by knowing what the speed of light is and then looking up in the sky. The fact that you see stars proves that the universe is much older than 6,000 years.

I am a Christian, but not a creationist. That is all I am going to say about it.

I wonder what Hitler would have thought about that video?
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

I've seen that in some HBO documentary. Thankfully it didn't have the stupid behemoth was a dinosaur song that was in the movie. Stupid propaganda song was stuck in my head for days.

Seems kind of redundant. Didnt he invent women for that?
