It's also not just infowars or the dailypaul. This info was other places as well. http://www.voanews.com/english/news/...-68759937.html
U.S. Constitution - Article 1 Section 9 - No Title of Nobility shall be granted by the United States: And no Person holding any Office of Profit or Trust under them, shall, without the Consent of the Congress, accept of any present, Emolument, Office, or Title, of any kind whatever, from any King, Prince or foreign State.
As much as you want it to, the UN does not fit the legal definition of a "foreign state" . so as much as you don't like Obama, temporarily being chairman of the Security council for 3 days does not violate the constitution.
BTW...
The other key phrase is "without the consent of Congress"
The U.S. Permanent Representative, currently Susan Rice, is charged with representing the United States on the U.N. Security Council and during all plenary meetings of the General Assembly except in the rare situation in which a more senior officer of the United States (such as the U.S. Secretary of State or the President of the United States) is present. Like all United States ambassadors, he or she must be nominated by the President and confirmed by the Senate.
Just think Hillary Clinton has a shot at being chairman of the Security Council too... All she has to do is show up any time it's the USA's turn to chair.
