    my life is shit

i drank a fifth of ezra brooks and dumped my girlfriend, she then poured beer on my laptop and broke it. im seeing a younger cuter girl and feel guilty about it. im losing hours at my shitty job. im drinking a lot. like zman status. im running out of snus and am broke as hell. im still living with said ex girlfriend because neither of us can afford a new place yet. i promise ill leave you guys a suicide note if i ever grow a set of nuts.

    haha.

Sorry things aren't going well for you. Things will get better eventually. That's what I tell myself anyway :^S

From what I have read, you seem to be on the right track!

Excerpt from www.drunkard.com "Ten Best Things About Booze"

"1. It shines a light in the darkness

It happens to everyone. You wake up submerged in a pitch black mood where the whole shebang seems an immense waste of time. When any and every move you could possibly make not only seems ill-advised, but a sure path to utter ruin.

Then you have a drink. You may have to force yourself to do it, because even drinking seems a big hassle. Suddenly the weight of the world shifts a little off your neck, not much, but enough to notice. Then you have another and, you know, things still suck, but it isn’t the end of the world, for crissakes. Then you have a third and a sliver of light pierces the gloom and you can actually make out the dim shapes of some of the good things around you. Six or seven more down the pipe and—Shazam!—you’re not only out of the pit of gloom, you’ve somehow managed to leap atop some gaudy and magnificent peak, surrounded by vast rolling plains of hope and opportunity.

Oh, sure, there will always be those who will shrill that it is false optimism driven by a chemical reaction in the brain, but so what? As any motivational speaker will tell you, a positive attitude, attained by whatever means, is the first step toward accomplishing anything of value.

                Where there’s hooch, there’s hope."

hang in there. i can relate. drinking dont normally help in the long run. i tell my son that without exception the stupidiest things a man will do in life will some how be connected to a female.

As cliched as it is, just keep your head up man. You will be fine. It may seem ridiculous at the moment, but you will get through it. I can't really give much advice as far as getting through it as some though, i consider myself rather weak to be honest.

I have been told many times that i'm 'strong' because of the things that have happened in my life and the fact that i'm still here ("i don't know how you do it, i wouldn't be able to deal with that" type of remarks) but the people saying that to me don't really understand what happened to me after the events, or what i turned to as an escape.

All i can tell you is to do what feels right for you. As long as you do what is right/ feels right for you, you should be fine. Cut out the distractions and focus on yourself.

man, sorry your bummed. welcome to the club
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.
