It's called blowback from our war in Afghanistan.

Our "enemies" have learned that they can hide in Pakistan. If we pursue them into Pakistan then they will bring the war to us.

60 minutes had a good piece on what we're up against Sunday night.

    A Relentless Enemy

    September 26, 2010 2:41 PM

Lara Logan's report takes viewers to the border area between Afghanistan and Pakistan, where she and her crew came under enemy fire from fighters who the U.S. military says keep coming from their sanctuary in Pakistan

Yeah, I caught that episode ....... some scary shit goin' down.

Coincidentally, last night, NCIS Los Angeles had a homegrown version near the Mexican border.

In either case, there's something to be said for being too old to fight (just gimme my snus 'n
snuff and I'll observe from the faraway sidelines)!.

              FULLY AGREE.
1)The sad thing is that they might actually pull another one off.
2)The good thing about it is we are on to them now.

Wait, how do you figure? Obama's only given a tax cut of roughly 7-13$ per week to the average American if I recall correctly.

Very good video. I'm not a military guy, and I'm probably missing some keypoints here. But IMO, we need to get the hell out of there and develop a strong defense along our borders and immigration policies. Focus the troops or other intelligence agencies on eradicating any enemies which may be within our own borders. The whole "give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses" sale is over. That special offer coupon is expired. America is done. We need to start minding our own business and let these other countries either succeed or fail on their own.

I think a lot of the hate for America stems from us pressing our ideologies, morals, and values into other governments abroad. That, and our success which has made them bitterly envious.

It's time we take care of our own, before we are destroyed. You can't win any wars over there. You're fighting an idea. Kill 100 fighters and 1,000 more will pick up the torch.

And my wallet disagrees with your wallet.

Let me guess you were unemployed then?

I mean really I can't see anything that has happened under Obama that would improve anyone's financial situation RIGHT NOW. Healthcare costs more, tobacco costs more, taxes cost more.

Yah, there's lots of good or bad things one could say about Obama, but I don't think he's really made anyone too much money recently. Maybe a couple of tax credits or something but in an economy like this it still doesn't add up to what the Bush years were. Not that Bush made the Bush years good, but I mean we weren't in the middle of recession like we are now.

Also, did you know that despite a nearly 20% unemployment rating nationwide, only %4.5 of people with a college education are unemployed? That's remarkably lower than I would have expected.

And I am not saying that your fiscal situation is always the fault of the sitting president. Neither of em were any good in my book when it came to Fiscal matters.

Well, I do work for the county government, so I should blame them instead. Darn those furlough days and property taxes!

                          Sorry for the confusion....

It's important to remember that the previous a-hole did this as well. Still, it's a vicious tactic.
