Earth is just a big cage where humans are being bred to make Soylent Green. nuff said....I've read the cookbook
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

Von Braun warned us about a fake Alien threat and not to weaponize space.

The technology however to do something like this is really amazing and it leans towards a higher intelligence.

You guys are both making wild assumptions about this. A) Are we interesting? Think about if humans developed a way to travel the universe and stumbled across an earth filled with humans who also had basic space travel etc. This would be a major historical find. News of an alien planet with intelligent life would be on every news channel in your home planet. Committees would be set up to decide how to proceed, whether to interact and greet them and compare cultures/technology etc to better understand the universe and how life evolves. So it would be VERY interesting for aliens to find us. Any scientist would agree with this.

My question is, "Why has this not happened"? Honestly, do you think an intelligent species finding another intelligent species wouldn't be interested in communicating with us? There is so much to be learned, even if we are "less advanced", our history and how we developed would be grade A data to collect for scientific inquiry. Yet that hasn't happened. So assuming aliens exist, this means either A) Life is so abundant that we are nothing new and they don't care B) They view us as animals and we are just videotaped for their version of national geographic C) There is some odd cultural or political concept which establishes a rule stating they are not to interfere with us. D) They only talk to our governments and have some kind of shady deal going on where the whole thing is kept secret.

The biggest thing that makes me believe aliens aren't here is the fact that they haven't said anything. I highly doubt aliens traveling through space who bump into a unique anomaly like intelligent life would come here, fly around, but never make any kind of contact. It just doesn't seem like they would come all the way here just to hover around for a few seconds and fly back. Of course it could all be some science project, perhaps they just come to observe for some specific purpose, or perhaps they dip in our oceans to refuel by splitting the water into hydrogen or something and we are nothing more than a refueling station. Who knows.

Again, this is all assuming this isn't just government secret aircraft. I doubt we stopped developing prototype jets back during the cold war. I wouldn't be surprised to find out that we have some pretty amazing technology. Look at how advanced the stealth was when it was being created.

I say **** what he thinks. He was a Nazi scientists, what does he know about ethics.

Weaponizing space is important and should be persued. A good space weapons system could be amazingly beneficial to us for multiple reasons:

Could be pointed outward to blow up ateroids for scientific inquiry or to diffuse one that is heading for earth
Could be used to battle the martians
Would give the US absolute dominance over the entire world via military superiority. We already have munitions that can get anywhere on earth in a matter of hours, but minutes would be better. With all this technology we should not be using so many ground troops. We should be making surgical strikes from space on specific high value targets and then only sending in ground troops to pick off the stragglers. Going door to door in the middle of the desert is no way to fight a war in the year twenty-ten.

The Bottom Line: Someone will do it eventually. It may as well be us. If we don't do it the chinese or the russians will.

I don't think they "dicovered" us, I think they knew of us longer than we have. And I think they have made secret contact with the powers that be. I don't think they would want to interfere(too much) in our day to day lives, and be buzzing around more than they can help it. But, if they are Earthbound(maybe Vril) then they would observe us, and if we are a threat to them, or the Earth(which we probably are), then they may have to do something.

Ethics? They had more ethics than we did. They could have(and maybe should have) produced the atom bomb. They could have, and used it and won the war. But such a weapon was unethical and they did not want it. I think also their contact with the Vril and Greys also made then not want such a bad device, but the US didn't care, and now this dstructive energy has been getting the attention of the "others". Weaponizing space will too. If we put something up there to that effect, it will be destroyed.

                Tom:

                A) If they lived underground, why would they have developed ulta-advanced flight capability. Seems like the last thing they would develope.
                B) If they were here from the begining, they would not need to contact our leaders, they would just be our leaders
                C) Why would they leave in secret for thousands of years, that makes no sense
                D) Where would they live, the earth is solid

Really, I see no evidence for anything your claiming Tom. It would be too dificult to not notice an entire different race living underneath us. Early man would have gone to war with them. There would be record somewhere.

I am pretty sure what he was getting at with telling us about the fake terror threat, fake comet threat and alien threat is that it is about control and massive amounts of money for the Military Industrial COMPLEX.

According to Dr. Rosin, (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CaTgOSHbBEI) von Braun then gave her one supreme assignment to thwart this plan: to stop the weaponization of space. Failure to do so would lead to calamity for the human race as a secretive trans-national powe r, already in existence, would move to permanently take control of this planet thru a hoaxed alien invasion from outer space.

According to von Braun, space based weapons, later known as the “Star Wars” program, were to be publicly promoted as our space “shield” against the evil Russians. Then they would be promoted as our defense against terrorists from Third World countries (‘rogue’ nations or ‘nations of concern’). Then their necessity would be justified as protection against asteroids and meteors, and the “last card,” the final justification according to von Braun, would be their installation in orbit against an extraterrestrial threat from outer space.

Von Braun told Dr. Rosin that she would begin to notice a certain “spin” on the news, which would illustrate the need to build space-based weaponry because our enemies “might” have these weapons, so our intelligence community would proceed on the assumption that they DO have these weapons. As we now know, this is exactly how the Star Wars program transpired.

I'm familiar with his statement. It is suspect though, when he was alive he never once spoke about any of this or mentioned any of these things. All we have is his assistant who he supposedly told all this too on his deathbed. She is a pretty nutty lady if you ever watch her speak so that doesn't lend much to her credibility and she seems to be trying to live off his fame as she has made a career out of going around talking about his "last words" at UFO conventions. But hey, he may have said it and if so he's been right so far. However, what is wrong with the "star wars" program Reagan put it. Has there been any issue?

We know the military industrial complex exists to suck up money etc, but I still think that America, of which I am party to, should have the worlds most elite defensive and offensive technology on the planet. I have much beef with our gov and what they do but I am still an American first and I still prefer this country to any other. I don't see any reason to give up the title of heavyweight champion just yet.

Look, space based weapons wouldn't give them any more control over americans than they currently have. If they wanted to hurt Americans they already have nukes and jets and bombs etc. Space based weaponry's only advantage is that it can hit things very far away very quickly. It poses no domestic threat the way I see it.

If we do it will just start a space arms race. Not sure if we really need that but I could agree with pumping money into NASA to create somekind of UFO gun.

I generally advocate anything having to do with dumping money into anything space related. During the space race was one of our most successfull periods as far as inventing new innovating technology. Everything from aluminum foil to microwaves became commonplace as a result of it. We really could benefit from a new push for space. I would prefer we funded nasa or a private sector contractor to start up a dcent space program (which NASA has failed to pull off for a decade), but even weapons tech would have some advantage.

Look i'm all down with stopping the power structure and all that, but I am a realist and know that the DOD is not going away, and partially for good reason. I believe in having a strong, unbreakable defense system and an accurate and fear-inducing offensive capability. I don't agree with how we fight wars is my problem. We are too weak and do not think. We let politicians fight wars, not Sun Tzu's. Like if we went to war with Iran we would probably storm their beaches and get a million people killed. We should instead pick off all of their relivent air defense assets from space or with other non-interceptable ordinance and then once the ADA SAM sites are cleared out we can send in the air force to do surgical strikes on each and every instalation of military importance, crippling their defensive capabilities. Next we should destroy all supply routes and effectively create a blockade to ensure nothing from outside the country gets in. Once the people start starving we send in the ground troops and offer aid to anyone willing to defect or join the resistance. Kill everyone else with armored devisions and indirect assets like artillery and CCA.

War is over in 1 year, minimum collateral damage, and Iranians might help us overthrow their government like the Iraqi's and Afghan's did. After their military is destroyed and their people turned against them, an insurgency against our occupation will begin to emerge. If we learned from our mistakes in Iraq/Afghanistan, we would make our next step a hasty withdraw, brokering a deal where as a victory prize we get all of their oil and in return give a percentage of it towards rebuilding infrastructure. Then immediately hand the government over to the resistance movement and let them run the country however they want, so long as it does not interfere with out free oil deal.

Keep a small contingency of troops stationed there permanently because at some point the new government will rally the people against Americans by saying "why do they get our oil profits, those belong to the Iranian people!". But that is in the future. This should give us significant time to use our UN security council seat to pressure Iran into obeying constant oversight by the UN/US so as to make sure no significant military presence ever threatens our agenda in the region.

Keep it real people, if we are going to go to war for oil, be direct about it and be quick about it. Get in get out, do it quick dirty and cheap, and don't make any apologies. Make sure the resistance movement gets lots of sweetheart deals from the US and they will keep their own people in check.

Project Blue Beam is a conspiracy theory created by this French guy:

He claimed that the UN and the US were going to impliment a new religion, headed by the antichrist and governed by the new world order, which would be brought about by using holograms to simulate the second coming of jesus christ. He is also the culprit behind the fake "Elder of Zion" nonesense that has convinced so many people on the internet that a masonic group has for 20 years been trying to establish an NWO run by the jews/zionists.

Yah, I highly doubt it. Only a fraction of the world is christian, a fake second coming wouldn't really create anything other than interesting articles in Wired magazine and the BadAstronomy blog.
