I think with the technology we have now or even the advancements in 15 years will document the event much better then in the past. You will probably be able to view the whole thing from a new advanced telescope purchased at Walmart and connected to your 10 foot virtual screen in the backyard by then.

It would put to bed many of the issues people have with this topic and I do believe would close this case.

So the fact that someone today can go someplace and bounce a laser off the refractor plates we placed on the moon and observer the reflection is not good enough now, yet a walmart telescope (most likely made in china) is going to be better.

You know most people can't split the atom and have never been present to see an atomic bomb explode (and lived to tell about it) yet no one calls that a hoax.

The soviets have a laser reflector on there also and that still leaves the point open.

All we need to do is send a guy there with an iphone in a lead case, high def video, pics etc, PLUS all the pics would be geotagged! Lol, that way you can be sure where the pic was taken from, with coordinates and everything lol. Steve Jobs should finance this as a product promotion.

So you are saying we did all the work to physically send something so breakable up there (unmanned) and position it, yet filmed the astronauts on earth? How does that make any sense?

You know, I don't think anything will do that. I think the issues people have with this is within themselves. They are so determine to believe this is a hoax and have such a poor understanding of the science involved that they believe it fanitically, like a religion. Imagine if I walked into the Vatican with proof that there is no God? How well do you think that will fly?

Yes, lol. That would be a great Campaign!
You should send the idea to Jobs.

I am just trying to keep a very open mind about this topic and really think a another mission should be done by another country or even us.

Why, what would really be gained? Some people will still believe it a hoax, the rest will find a new "hoax". Better to go to Mars where there is something to be gained.

I think the added gains would be "present" time footage, data, cleare documentation, another countries pride in science advancement (In a now we can do it too mentality, against the #1 superpower). There are many gains and it probably has the least to do with conspiracy theorists but yes, I agree that there would still be people that dis-believe but I think many of the issues could at least be compared and put to rest.

It's not just average trailer park rednecks that doubt the "moon story", but many scientists, and some ex-astronauts, in a variety of scientific fields, as well as professionals in the areas that arrouse doubt. Same with 911.

I still fail to see why this hoax is that big a deal anyways. I mean, we can all certainly agree that we sucessfull went up to the moon, mars etc at least with robots. That's an amazing feat. Whether a man did or did not walk on any of those celestial bodies wouldn't really be such a world changing event honestly, especially since they will be duplicating it seem when China send s man there in a few years.

We sent out a sattelite that has almost left our solar system. Do you have any idea how far that is? The fact we can get a robot out there that is still, decades later, sending us pictures and data is amazing. We should have been sending sattelite after sattelite out to the edge of the universe for the last 40 years. In another 100 years from now all those things will be WAAAAY out there and will be able to tell all sorts of cool stories. If this one malfunctions we are out of luck for another 50 years.

But really, I believe a man walked on the moon, and soon enough we will be able to have telescopes and digital imagine that will allow the ameature to take photos of the bootprints on the moon from their backyard. Then they will just claim we used robots to make a footprint there. I don't even know why this is worth debating, there is just such an overwhelming amount of evidence of every kind to deny something like the moon landing. To prove a hoax to go to the moon, you would need some solid evidence, much more than "The shadows look wrong" , "they took too many pictures", or "it's shopped, I can tell by the pixels"

That's fine, let them submit their proof. Any scientist who comes at me saying "The shadows is wrongsz!!!" or "THE RADIATION WOULD KILL THEM" is either not in a field of science that should be speaking on the subject, or is not smart enough to do even the most basic research. I mean the "scientists" that don't believe this havn't even read the wikipedia page about it, which gives very concrete explanations for these minor stipulations everyone brings up.

They're not like "oh it was swamp gas, reflecting light from venus. That's what you saw", no, they are saying "People, I don't think you realize that we used special photography equipment made just for this mission and made specifically to be used in a 0g, high temp/radiation environment, we didn't use kodak cameras we bought at CVS".

Obviousely this is propaganda from those capitalist dogs in the west.

I mean look at this, in his panel you can see that no one is taking a photograph! There is an astonaut but no one taking a picture!!!!!!!

Lol, except for the fact that, (like I mentioned before) the cameras were attached to the chest of the suit, where the astronomer could take photographs easily with one click, as holding it up to your faceplate would not work well.

But certainly don't let that fact get in the way, this is obviousely a high-res photoshop job from the 60's.
