    Snus and throat pain?

I have had a sore throat for 5 weeks now. saw a registered nurse at a clinic after work hrs. and she gave me antibiotics. still not well. went to my real dr today and she was like...? you need to see a specialist tomorrow. well work is crazy and i tried to tell her. she said no. you NEED to see the dr. tomorrow.
now im all freaked out! have any of you had Snus related throat irritation??? she said my throat looks infected but the antibiotics should have killed it.....

No, never. There's a chance you have an allergy to one of the ingredients, but I'd expect to see that in your lip also.

But, there was this one time I was at a crazy party using Thunder- and the next morning I woke up in a closet with a sore butthole and a red wig on. I never used Thunder again.

Laugh my ****ing ass off! I bet you were naked under a wet trenchcoat as well, wearing heels. Thunder is a beast.

Speedoape -- Winter rapidly approaches. It's probably strep or bronchitis or one of many things that give people sore throats. But you did mention the antibiotics... I dunno bud it's most likely not the snus though. Aren't there clinics open on Saturdays in New Caney Texas? Come to think of it, as I type that, probably nut huh. Go see one anyway dude. Tell them you can't sleep because of the coughing and they'll give you narcotic cough syrup. Then you just need some Hennesey, Sprite, and styrofoam cups and you can achieve drug-addled, mentally deranged Lil Wayne cool-factor status at a party this weekend, and your throat will feel better.

It might be all the camel snus you're using. Or maybe not.

You might be on to something there. Some people have issues with certain artificial sweeteners. I could very well believe that could irritate the throat, but be be unnoticeable on the lip.

Hey update. Its an ulcer on my tonsil that made it swell up kinda gnarly. Im avoiding the camel and see if it sticks around. He gave me l-lysine an amino acid to take and gargle. So its not cancer!

Keep us updated how you're doing with it. I don't think snus caused it, but I guess you never know. I've never had any throat issues from snus.

                      Nope, definitely not.

You've just got a cold with a sore throat. Drink plenty of peppermint tea and eat honey besides the anti-biotics.

How about skin rashes.... did anyone get skin rashes from snus?

I've got one the other day and I just can't figure out what going on ... ?!?!

well i havnt used Camel anything in 3 days. strictly General Mini Mint, Original no flavor white, and reglular White Mint portions. oh and Gotlands. throat is doing better. the Ulcer on my tonsil isnt so pissed anymore and i believe is going down some. I think that the falvoring in the Camel had/has something to do with the irritation. I now have in my fridge/freezer General various, and Gotlands Christmas. i pitched out all the camel.
i wont be using Ghetto Snus anymore!

Just try different brands. I have problems with General Los but not portions for some reason. The General Los will give me sores on my lip as well as a sore throat but I don't get that with Gellivare or Gotlands. In fact, you may want to try Gotlands as that seems to be the most natural and softest to use IMO. It would be the perfect snus if it had a bit more salt in it.
