I don't know tbh. Chlorine bleaching has fallen out of favor for most manufactured products, so I would say no, but I don't know that for fact.

LX, you might find the following to be of interest:

      Bleach in Teabags

      "Totally Chlorine Free (TCF) Bleaching

Totally Chlorine Free bleaching uses no chlorine compounds in bleaching procedure and only virgin wood pulp is used. Bleaching chemicals used - peracetic acid (CH3COOOH), oxygen (O2), ozone (O3) and hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) - produce no chlorine byproducts."

I would think that any company using TCF bleaching would tout that
fact in their packaging and/or advertising but have yet to notice.

Interesting. I assumed the makers switched over, but maybe not. I remember seeing a lot of box marks stating oxygen bleaching in the past, but not so much lately. That could mean that non chlorine bleaching is standard, but that's a big assumption on my part. I'll try to find some info on the different manufacturer sites.

        Edit:
Information seems to be scarce. So far I can confirm Celestial Seasonings doesn't use chlorine, but PG Tips, and Twinnings I can't find info on. More to come...

        Edit2:
Yogi, Stash, and Twinnings use non chlorine bleaching, still can't find info on PG Tips.
