    Smoke Flavor

This has been bothering me for awhile, but I had a very bad episode a couple days ago. If I overdue snus that has smoke, I tend to get heartburn, and hiccups. I'm generally ok if I take it easy, but the effects from the last time have been sticking around.

What happened, is I fell asleep with Granit lös in, and I woke up a few hours later hiccupping, and had pain in my chest. I spit the snus out, and tried to get back to sleep, but the hiccupping was intense, and I was salivating like crazy. It seems like I swallowed a liter of spit laying there. I got up and got a drink, but it didn't really help much, and the heartburn was still pretty bad. It mellowed out after a few hours, but if I tried to use snus with smoke(Ettan), it would come back again.

Right now I can use Ettan without too much trouble, but if I try the Granit, the hiccups come back after a half hour or so, and the heartburn returns :^/ Kind of sucks, but I guess if I take it easy on the smoke, I should be able to keep things under control. I've fridged the Granit for the time being. I'm gonna lay off of it for awhile, and see if my flappy thing(the name's escaping me atm :^D) gets better with a rest.

I don't get the hiccups but too much smoky snus and I get heartburn like a champ. Too much artificial smoke flavor from anything will do it to me.

I usually just stay away from smoky snus all together but sometimes (rarely) I go ape shit and eat a can of general los in two days. I then cry for a day or so and have a sensitive system for a few days. It also makes my poop smell funny. I am going to stop there...

Interesting. First, happy I take Nexium, second, I didn't know there were smoky snuses. What are some other smoky ones? What is smoky defined as?

Anything that lists smoke flavoring as an ingredient sets me off...General and Grov set me off...Ettan to a lesser extent. Any General clones out there...I'm kinda drawing a blank atm.

AKA rökarom. In addition to Monkey's list, here's the ones I can think of...

                Lucky Strike all
                Göteborg Rapé
                Probe
                All General inc Onyx
                N&J
                Röda Lacket lös
                Granit

Gotland, Skruf, and V2 don't use smoke at all
