    General and mouth ulcer?

I recently ran out of Northerner purified which is my all day Snus. So I have 2 rolls on order and due in thursday. So being out I been using General mini mint and WP exclusively since that's what I can get for the past week. Well it broke my mouth out! Ulcer under the tongue and on the lower gum! The under the tongue one is the one that hurts. I been rinsing with salt water 3x's a day and went cold turkey on the Snus yesterday afternoon. They are almost gone now. Anyone else have a issue with General???

    General Wintergreen is evil.....

It sounds like the PH in your mouth is a little high. Maybe throw in an extra brushing and keep with the rinsing.

Not that I know shit from Shine-ola.

Everybody is different. I love General los but it kills my gums. I don't seem to have that issue with any other los.

General.....all SM actually, gives me wicked bad heartburn.

Any snus with smoke flavoring does it to me.....but only with overuse.

I will do a tin of General every couple of months or so....when I get a strange hair up my butt. By the end of the tin I regret.....oh how I regret.

SM snus sometimes gives me chapped lips. They aren't exactly chapped, but I don't know how else to describe it. The skin kind of peels a bit. I suspect the smoke flavoring, but I don't know for sure.

Sea salt water swishing seemed to do the trick. Back up and running with General until Thursday when my purified gets here.

Yeah, I've had this from General OP and WP too. Usually would flare up after 2-3 portions, and be OK again by the end of the can. If I stuck to General regularly, they never came back, but if I laid off general for a few weeks and then came back to it, I'd get a mouth ulcer.

I just noticed this morning the slight cracky lips from a SKRUF tranbar. Wonder if that has smoke also?

                    Myself, I blame the citrus.

SM snus dries my lips out a bit, but I use Blistex all the time out of habit (I guess I breathe heavily through my mouth when I sleep, leading to deathly dry lips in the morning.)

I also used to get heartburn from General for quite a long time, but it eventually stopped.

Yep, I had to practically retire my beloved Prima Fint due to the smoke flavoring. Traded off 3 rolls of it, actually. Now I usually alternate between Knox, Granit, and the occasional Thunder, Phantom Brown, and Phantom Classic. No more SM, no more heartburn or reflux.

I tossed in some of my dad's Ettan the other day...and it felt like my throat was about to close up...

I went through a small phase of the kind of chapped lips...when I was using General exclusively. It eventually went away. I wondered if it had to do with the salt content...
