Aspirin every day can cut cancer risk by 60%

Taking aspirin regularly can cut the long-term risk of cancer, according to the first major study of its kind.
British researchers found it can reduce the risk by 60 per cent in people with a family history of the disease.
The landmark research covering 16 countries is the first proof that the painkiller has a preventive action that is likely to benefit anyone using it every day.

Just wait... Next year there will be a study that says it increases the risk of cancer and makes the baby Jesus cry.

Hmm, so I can have a choice of trading my odds of developing cancer for my odds of liver failure now? Sweet.

These "studies" should be frowned upon by every scientist worth their salt. As long as there is no causal explanation as to how and why acétylsalicylique acid could prevent cancer, statements like these are completely and utterly worthless.

Exactly, "Correlation != Causation" and all that. Aspirin can be pretty rough on the liver too, especially if your drinkin and snusin every day
