I wasn't even trying to quit smoking....just liked snus better and decided to go with that rather than smoke. This is coming from a guy that use to smoke two packs a day.

Got my snus delivery yesterday. Much more nic than the camel snus for sure. I did notice a sign for the Tourney snus the other day, maybe I'll try it.

I'm not that much of a smoker, been off and on since college (15 years). And lately I only smoke about 10-12 per day.

I will say that the "real" snus does make a difference. I'm still finding the desire to burn one, but it's only been a few days. It has a lot to do with the entire ritual. And having an excuse to go out and get some "air" from time to time comes in handy during uncomfortable moments at in-law dinners (ha!).

And I've really never tried to quit before either. Have had periods of several months nicotine free and never even thought about it.

But now the wife is really on me to quit. Our 2 yo son sees me smoking and mimics me. He says he wants to go out and have a smoke with daddy. He'll even pick up sticks or use straws or whatever and pretends like he's smoking. HE'S ONLY 2!!!! Wife isn't happy about that.

So I don't necessarily want to quit, but I should for a bit of a different reason (not health related at all, yet). At least with the snus, it's discreet enough that he doesn't know, and I plan on keeping it that way for as long as possible.

Plus, the other added bonus, cigs now taste like reconstituted shit. Even after my first snus with Roda Lacket los. Every smoke just tastes bad now.
