After dozens of articles that I've read I came to the conclusion that when it comes to snus it's not about oral cancer but pancreatic cancer

Other research links the use of
    snus with pancreatic cancer
. Your chances of getting pancreatic cancer double when you use snus according to the findings

It increases the chances by 50% compared to the non tobacco user!!!!11

So instead of a 2 in 10000 chance, we have a 3 in 10000 chance of getting it. THATS IT, I'M QUITTING! *trollface*

I'd stand in a line of 10,000 if you told me 3 of us would get shot, but the rest got $1,000. That's how I feel about those odds.

The "pancreatic cancer" findings are based on a single flawed study. AFAIK, it's never been duplicated. Until it gets duplicated, it isn't worth more than a casual noting.

            quite true lx -

and even in those cases found, probably snus wasn't really the cause

there's people with pancreatic cancer with all different causes other than snus, probably bad diet, alcohol, drugs........... etc..........

Smoking is thought to lead to Pancreatic cancer too. Given all the other evils associated with smoking, I'd still snus over smoking.

Assuming the study is accurate, snus is about midway between non tobacco users, and smokers for pancreatic cancer.
