Snus is a miracle! It is the only thing that got me off the smokes after 30+ years... All I'm saying here is to be careful not to OD on the super strong portions. The higher the nic content, the quicker your blood vessels constrict.

General regular 8 mg portions turned the trick for me... my cardio problems started when I was using strong portions every day. As long as I don't pop several strong portions in a row, I'm fine!

BTW, once you are off the smokers, it's like your life has returned to you! You'll be able to taste and smell foods they way they really taste once again! And, on top of that, your lungs will become clear... no more hackings! And, best of all, the craving for cigarettes is gone! I couldn't go an entire day without a pack of smokes... now... two or three portions of snus is all I need!

thanks for all the info guys.. I noticed the other night the pain came after eating some fast food rather than when snusing and I did some research and I think it was my gallbladder warning me to cut it down on the unhealthy crap..

Currently I'm at about 6 - 8 regular portions a day and 1 or 2 strong hits so I shouldn't be overdoing it.

Also Wa3zrm thanks for the heads up! I should have a stress test done at some point.. I only smoked for 3 years and am 22 years old.. and with a good blood pressure and resting heart rate of 45 - 50 bpm I feel like i'm probably good but still.

I've read also quitting smoking can cause just about any pain/symptom you can think of basically just because your thinking of it lol.

I've had severe back/neck pains for years. I do see that snusing worsens that. I have also proplems sleeping with snus .I notice that the'll be worse if had nothing or tired etc.

I feel all kinds of ill effects from too rapid an intake from Snus, but manage it well most days. And the cost of snus has deflated my wallet to the point that back pain when seated is greatly improved actually!
