I've successfully cut back to only smoking a few cigarettes in the morning before the sun gets up and a few in the evening after it goes down. I'm still a smoker but for most of my day I use snuff, and my chest already feels so much less congested.

        horus,

        Good points above.

When I decided to quit I ordered a bunch of snus. Like 25 or 30 different cans. Then kept notes on which ones I liked the best. After a while it became clear the strong ones worked!

Then I ordered a lot due to the PACT panic. Lots of General (back then) Eksta Sterk, Skruf Xtra Stark loose as it was on sale often. My concern was catching all the sales and loading up. Hoarding!

Did not really even think about smoking and did not worry if I did smoke...just made sure to have a snus in whenever I could at work.

Took a few months but have been done with cigs a few years now. Had one the other day and it was the first in about six months. Even felt it the next day!

Don't be afraid of using strong snus....Odens Extreme is perfect for breaking a cig addiction! If it was around when I decided to quit I am sure I would have quit sooner.

If you want to smoke then go ahead and smoke but pop a snus in whenever you can and you'll gradually smoke less. After a while you won't smoke at all.

        Good luck!
