Yep, one the reasons I use tobacco. As you know, mate, I take antipsychotic medication, and I would be a hell of a lot fatter if I don't have tobacco.

Who needs a stomach staple when you have Roda lös?!

"Amanda Sandford, research manager for ASH, Action on Smoking and Health, said it was already known that pure nicotine could be safely used to wean smokers off their tobacco habit."

Sterk and ES portions seem to curb by appetite, so that's more reason to have my habit

I used to be 300 lbs @ 6'3". No joke. I've worked my ass off (quite literally) to lose the weight over the years, and snus has defintely helped me control my appetite. I'm the kind of guy who eats when he is bored, and having a portion or pris in my mouth helps me from even wanting to eat. I'm not 190 lbs @ 6'3", and will continue to use snus as a means of controlling my appetite. It's not a matter of self control, I lost the weight without snus, nicotine however is a helpful appetite suppressant.

Nicotine is awesome...So many possibilities exist within this taboo evil substance. Cancer cure? ADD treatment? Obesity control? I'm sure nicotine has a lot more benefits which are yet to be discovered...Maybe even mood stabilizing properties??? Why do so many scizophrenics smoke??? Hmmm....

It is good at homicide prevention, at least that is my usual usage...

I used to be obese and I managed to lose about 80 pounds with diet and exercise. Nicotine was also important, I was into dipping at the time and it would curb my appetite very well.

The thing with losing a lot of weight is that you still have the metabolism/hunger-pains of a much larger person for a long time. If I ate every time I felt hungry and ate as much as the reptilian part of my brain tells me to eat, I would gain all the weight back. I still have periods where I let myself go a bit and put on 5-10 pounds. When I'm doing well, I use nicotine to curb my appetite so that I can eat a normal, healthy amount of food. It banishes the phantom-hungers.

Exactly like Oregon was saying actually. I'm trying to switch to nasal snuff but american dip satisfies the oral fixation very well. I'd get some snus if I could afford it. I'm also still smoking some cigarettes (I had that habit beat for a while, shit sucks) but I've managed to get it down to five a day, whereas when I initially started smoking again it was over a pack a day.
