Weird Jakobssons melon cough

Hey guays,

So I'm on Jakobssons melon now, I can't get enough of the stuff. But I've noticed something weird - if I take a whiff of the snus, or even if I just open the can to take one out, it irritates my lungs and makes me cough. Anyone else notice this? If you havent noticed, take a deep whiff, trust me.

I dont find this with any other snus, and I've pretty much tried most. What could it be?

I'm guessing the flavor. I get that from Jolly Rancher candy. It's he tartness, or something. Over ripe bananas do that to me also. Maybe alcohol compounds in the fruit.

Yeah I guess it must be the flavour. It's not an issue, I'm over the moon that I found the 'Jak's Strong' range. I love strongly flavoured snus, Back in early 2009 when i got into snus this pretty much meant Offroad or Gotlands.

It's the ammonia - I guess I am allergic to the ammonia in snus

I have it with most portion snus - that's why I preferred loose

a few non-snusing friends of mine almost were knocked of their feet when they smeller Odens Extreme Portion

one of them told me that it stung him right up his head.. a strong stinging sensation in his sinuses when he inhaled from the tin

and he asked me how the crap I can put that in my mouth?

Sometimes i get a big kick when smelling a fresh can full of something but what youre describe sounds like a similar problem i have with anything sweet. Whenever i eat something extremely sweet, caramel, sour skittles, etc i will start coughing. Perhaps you have a similar condition to me but with smell?
