Anyone get gum irritation with Frost flavors?

I'm relatively new to snusing, been at it since April and it's helped me quit smoking for 4 months now however, I recently just got into the Frost flavors in a variety pack I ordered, and noticed it's doing a number on my upper lip. I snus about 4 times a day, never had problems with any of the Original or fruit flavors, but Offroad Frost and Thunder Frost both seem to tear up my upper lip and gums, despite always alternating between left and right sides. It had a hell of a burn when I put it in initially but that fades after a couple minutes, it's just after a few days it feels raw. Is it just the compounds in the Frost flavor? Anyone else have this problem?

I was using only General Wintergreen for about 3 months and yes, it did irritate my gums and lip a lot more than non-minty snus. My gums were pretty sore for a bit. I am taking a break from minty snus and my mouth feels a lot better. My suggestion would be to substitute in some non-frost flavors.

Minty snus is rougher on the gums for sure. Like Twizzler said, just try alternating.

Yes, thunder frosted used to leave me in agony, you get used to it though, but alternate sides and you soon get used to it.

I'll second that as well. Back when I thought Camel Frost and Winterchill were the coolest thing since sliced bread, they made my gums burn for about the first 5 minutes they were in. It also made me salivate alot more than their Mellow and Robust flavors. I just got some General Mint, and it had the same effect. I'm probably going to stick to classic snus for a while, until I figure out which mint ones don't burn the everliving hell out of my gums!

I've also found that mint snus' juice isn't too pleasant to swallow either; it leaves my throat feeling funny, and gives me a slightly upset stomach as well.
