Japanese make very good malts from what I've read. They started by importing scotch and rebottling it, but have started making their own in native distilleries. I'd certainly try it if I saw some in a store, and it wasn't terribly expensive.
Don't know him? Hell yea I know him. I went to high school with him.

I've been wrong lots of times. Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.
I think I've seen that bottle at Uwajimaya. They have all sorts of sake and Japanese liquors there. Awesome store.

I forgot about Uwajimaya, it is a great store. Only been there once but lots of stuff.
Yep, I love the International District. Lots of Asian culture and cuisine there, and plenty of neat things to find!
Here's a tip... Head to Little Saigon sometime. There's some pretty tasty phở being served up in their community.

It is a very nice single malt, about $50. A good price. The 18yr old is as good as it gets, but out of my price range, and since I can no longer run out of the store fast enough, not an option. The pioneer example is fitting.
