    Gum irritation

I've been snusing for better than two months now. This past weeked, I used more portions than normal. I noticed my gum line got pretty raw. These are from normal portions. When I first started, I went through eight tins of white before my last order which is mostly normal portions.

Will this gum irritation lessen over time? I will probably never use more than 4-5 portions on weekdays, but on weekends I like to use a few more. I do not want to run out of gum area because it is all sore from too much snus.

I'm not exactly sure, I only use about 2-4 each day for the past 3 weeks and I have not noticed any discoloration or soreness, I still feel the burn a little bit. Do you brush your teeth and gums regularly? I like to give my gums a nice abrasive brush since using snus and really give it to them hard. Perhaps you could try using a different type of tooth paste.

Are you using lös as well as portions? If so, make sure you're not baking too tightly, that will definitely cause you trouble.

If not, make sure you're switching sides a lot, and even use your lower lip from time to time. I used to lower-lip portions exclusively, but these days I start them off in the upper lip, and after 30-45 minutes(when the nicotine flow has cooled down a bit) I bring the portion down to my lower lip.

And, I never use the same place twice in a row. I figure the more variation, the less potential for trouble.

I have been using for about 17 months. early on, I did notice some irritation, but over time, that went away. I never vary my portion location, and have no issues with any irritation now.

I was using about 2-3 snus a day and put them in my upper lip, I rotated sides about every other time. I just noticed yesterday small crevaces in my gums right where I put the snus, they almost look like small dents on a car. Im going to hold off using snus for a bit and see if they lessen or go away completely. It's not cool to have dents in your gums.

I have noticed a small black spot as well, looks like a sliver of wood that you would get in your finger but it's in my gums.

I can use Goat Rape los without the slightest gum irritation. General is also very gentle on the gums.

I cannot say the same for Skruf or Ettan. (Ettan would easily be my favorite if it weren't a bit harsh on the gums).
