Weird tongue feeling...

Hi all,

Been a long time since I've posted on here. So anyway I've been tobacco-free for about a year, then I cracked and started snusing again. I began snusing about a month and 1/2 ago, and I've noticed these weird tongue changes. Sometimes I feel like I have a small piece of food stuck somewhere underneath my tongue, I got paranoid and started looking in the mirror but I can't find any abnormal lumps or anything.... It seems to happen when I drink soda sometimes, and I sometimes have this bad acid/mucous taste in my mouth. But it wasn't like this before I began snusing.

I know that snus does not cause oral cancer, so I guess I'm not terribly frightened, but it's still a cause for concern. Did this happen to any of you when you began snusing, and if so, what is it and will it go away? I feel like something is under my tongue on the floor of my mouth but I can't find anything.

Ummm! Have you been doing unusual Cunnilingus to various females lately..... Errr! Some might be bad..... Otherwise i'm at a loss....

Nope never happened to me...sounds scary. Maybe herpes from a not so clean women like jagmannss said.

Could possibly be a blocked saliva duct. I had one of those under my tongue years ago and it drove me nuts. It felt exactly like something was stuck under my tongue. Didn't hurt but was still maddening. I went to the dentist, who diagnosed it. It suddenly unblocked itself and hasn't recurred since.

Blocked saliva duct must have been it, it just magically went away. Weird how it didn't happen until after I began snusing...that sort of freaked me out.
