    Snus & Blurry Vision?

    Hello all,

I've been using snus for about 5 months. Like many of you, I started using snus to quit smoking. Proud to say, that I am pretty much cigarette free for past few months. Lately, I've been experiencing blurred vision, which seems more noticeable to me when I snus.

Has anyone else had similar experiences?

FYI--I don't have the best eyesight in the world. I'm not sure the snus is the real culprit, but I suspect that it may amplify my already poor vision.

I've started to notice this, myself. It's definitely time for me to cut back a little bit...

I'm kinda freaked out over this.

Do you mind if I ask how much snus you use?

I typically use 8-12 portions a day of Grov and or General.

      Is this too much?

      HELP PLEASE!

Blurred vision is a result of excess insulin and blood sugar swings. Any stimulant can greatly aggravate any blood sugar instability or insulin sensitivity problems. Insulin destroys retanal function.

This problem is very easily remedied by following a ketogenic diet (very low carbs, high fat and protein). This sort of diet also greatly enhances sensitivity to stimulants, because it lowers total blood volume and increases natural adrenaline production.

Blurred vision is oft a sign of a developing or extant diabetes, which is reversed or eliminated entirely by avoiding carbohydrate.

          Hi,
I'm new to this forum, I usually hang out on snuffhouse.org but I'd like to find out more about Snus. Please excuse my lack of knowledge. I produce an English snuff called 'Snus Ice' and sell it all over Europe.
Could switching to snuff help or is the problem with nicotine rather than the method of taking it?

Hi Roderick, I find all forms of Nictoine blur my vision to some degree unfortunately. Maybe it depends on one's constitution.
