If it’s any help Toque ships all over the world free of charge and if you’re outside the European Union you get a 17.5% tax discount on the shown price i.e. £1.49 becomes £1.27/ $2.25.

And there you have it!!! Looks like I'll be trying nasal snuff!

On a serious note, I've come to trust you guys on what to try/not to try regarding snus flavors so, what are your thoughts on a flavor for a newbie snuffer to try? I'm not really interested in the nic content, just the flavor/scent thing. I like sweet, fruity scents with flowery notes but, I'm not opposed to expanding my scent horizons. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have heard Toque is great. I'm snuffing Dean Swift Raspberry right now, goes good with 1847 white portion. I finally found a local shop that carries more than 1 brand of snuff, and I bought an ozona orange and Ozona raspberry, haven't dug into those yet. I think it was lxskllr that said he liked Gawith's Apricot. I didn't care for it when I bought it, but I got it at a smokeshop that probably doesn't sell much nasal snuff so it may have been sitting for a couple years for all I know. The Dean Swift is made in England, nice hint of raspberry. I'll let you know Woodstock what I think of Toque when it arrives.

I'm really new at this, but I like menthol and camphor scents. I also think I'd tend to like dark herbal type snuffs. My order from Toques was menthol, absinthe, St. Clements, peppermint, espresso, Natural, and Original. We'll see how they turn out. I have a good feeling about these though.

I take over the counter, non-drowsy, once a day claritin or a generic version of same drug for allergy symptoms. Allergy symptoms are annoying. If you where allergic to tobacco then you wouldn't be enjoying snus much less snuff. There may be flavors in snus or snuff that you are allergic to but there are so many flavors and types of snuff that you are sure too find some that you can enjoy. Although it is a little difficult to enjoy snuff completely while you are suffering from allergies. In my opinion snuff has nothing to do with allergies and will neither help nor exasperate the situation. As a connoisseur of fine tobacco you owe it to yourself to try nasal snuff. As a human it seems your only practical option for allergy symptoms are drugs.. If you suffer from more severe allergies then you should consult a physician.

There are a couple of MD/Doctor’s on the Yahoo snuffclub and they are looking into the health benefits of nasal snuff. Try asking about allergies on that forum your bound to get some very good and interesting answers.

My order from Toque hasnt arrived yet but I picked up some Dental Sweet Snuff.

Its pretty harsh and has hardly any smell to it but it does open the sinuses.

I have had some problems before with having trouble to breathe through more than one nostril and snuff actually opens your nasal passages up very well.

I just need to get some saline spray for my nose to clean it out a little better than blowing alone.

Normally takes 5-7 days to the USA.

I used to use a nasal wash but now I find I can just splash my face in the shower and it works just as well.

tropical Bob mentioned Neti pots in another post. It's a little pot you fill with salinated warm water and pour into the nose for cleaning. I was skeptical until I tried it when I felt I was getting sick last winter. Logically it's a good idea, your schnoz is your head's main filter, so washing it out on occasion makes good sense.

Well, I finally bropke down and ordered myself a 25g tin and a mini bullet of raspberry as well as a mini bullet of original.

I am quite excited to try your snuff.

                      Thanks Xobeloot,
I'll make sure they stick in a couple of samples as well.

Xobeloot! How do you do it?! I may just hire you after my Naval career just to be a personal shwag-snagger. Your ability to network with these tobacco industry-types is unbelievable!

You need to write a book about how you do it...and send me a copy.
