    Want a BIGGER Brain?

Fish oil could help prevent Alzheimer's and also give you a bigger brain

Research shows people with higher levels of the omega-3 fatty acids found in fish oil may also have larger brain volumes in old age This would be the equivalent to preserving one or two years of brain health.
Eating more fish could give you a bigger brain - and greater protection against diseases such as Alzheimer’s, claim researchers.
They found people with higher levels of the omega-3 fatty acids found in fish oil may also have larger brain volumes in old age.
This would be the equivalent to preserving one to two years of brain health, says a new study published in the journal Neurology.
One of the key omega-3 fatty acids is docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), which is thought to help nerve cells communicate with each other.
Omega-3 fats work in several ways to reduce heart attack risk by cutting blood fats, reducing the chances of a blood clot and blocking dangerous heart rhythms that might otherwise prove fatal.
It is thought that omega-3 fatty acids in fish oils may reduce inflammation of the brain and play a part in brain development and nerve cell regeneration.

Damn, I keep forgetting to eat more fish. Maybe it's too late. Pizza is still OK, right?

fish oil sucks. I try to eat at least a half can of canned salmon errday. It has like the skin, even vertebrae along with the fish meat. Keeps me from feeling depressed. I took fish oil for 3 months. A high quality brand. No results.

****kkk i love pizza though. And hot wings with it!! Lol
To snus or not to snus. That is not the question

"Hemp seeds contain approximately 30 percent fat, 80 percent of which consists of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, or polyunsaturated fats, according to an article published in 2004 in the journal "Euphytica." This makes hemp a good source of these essential fatty acids. Two essential fatty acids, the omega-3 fatty acid stearidonic acid and the omega-6 fatty acid gamma-linolenic acid are found in hemp seed."

"Hemp nuts also provide a number of other nutritional benefits. They are approximately 35 percent protein, and the protein they provide consists of easily digestible types of proteins that contain all of the essential amino acids. Hemp seeds also contain fiber, iron, calcium, magnesium, potassium and vitamin E. Unlike fish, one of the better known sources of omega-3 fatty acids, they are unlikely to be contaminated with mercury."

Conclusion: Add hemp seed and fish to your diet.

        The more you crow.

Is that something you could do with regular old pot seeds or would it have to go through some kind of sterilization process?

If I take fish oil tablets for a few days all I can smell and taste is fish. It's disgusting.

Sad thing for most of us here is that.......BIGGER BRAIN........implies......having a brain at all

so this might not be all that relevant of a story

The good news is........we are a blissfully jovial group nonetheless
When it's my time to go, I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my uncle did....... Not screaming in terror like his passengers

Food grade hemp seeds will have the most nutritional value since they're cultivated for that purpose (and fresh), but cannabis seeds in general have the same nutritional makeup.

Here's the best deal I've come across... Let me know if you find something better (but I would say it's reasonably priced on that site).

Is there something bad about smoking with the seeds still intact? I'm sure it creates a less pleasant experience but i remember some shady chick my friends mom used to hang out with told us that once. Of course I've had complete different "scientific" facts told to me my entire life about the stuff, i kind of started to question it in 6th grade one year after our 5th grade D.A.R.E teacher was put in prison for cocaine distribution. I've stayed away strictly for the purpose of not picking up another habit that costs money

Nah, it just means that you're smoking flowers from a pollinated female (or hermaphrodite); either case resulting in lower potency, as the plant will shift her focus on seeding (rather than flowering).

All fish make my wee smell of rotting carcasses. Not that anybody else will be smelling my wee of course.
Asparagus has a strange odour in that department too. I like my wee smelling of whisky and crisps.
