      My levels were below normal and I was prescribed the 50,000 D2 twice a month. Instead I went with 5,000 a day of D3. After re-checking my levels months later I went from 19 to 32 which is in the normal level. The online Dr./Lab stated I should really try to get into the 60's. That would most likely be a 10,000 pill a day which I am a little weary of without weekly testing.

        That's interesting. I reckon we're all below normal in the UK. I'd be cautious about those levels too. They like to ramp it up aggressively initially but that means an awful lot of calcium in your blood. Once they get it up to normal levels I realise they bring you down to about 1000 IU. I started to feel a bit strange on the 4,400 dose so I'm back down to the 2,200.
