    just back from the dentist

Well the bad news, got bleeding gums and might need a tooth removed. My demtist doesnt think its the snus though its just me not brushing properly. In fact she is very positive about snus being from sweden herself. My last dentist did 5 mins of research and said I should quit. She confermed my own research that it doesnt cause cancer.

The problem is probably because I dont brush I cicles anymore since I started snusing and I dont spend enough time. Donno about her advice on me having to start to floss.

also she advized that I dont just keep the snus in the front either right or left, that I should use it furher back too, on either side.

in other news from my smokig days of weezing and nearly falling over dead crossing the road to the local shop, I can mow cycle at a moderate pace for 30mins or intensivly for 17mins. Quite a big improvement from a year and a bit ago when I gave up smoking for good.

Snus doesnt help with the mind im sad to say but what does help is the exercise. Feeling like a million due to that.

Edit: Its only been a few weeka due to cardio started before I was just doing weights situps and pressups, oh and walking. If I did cardio a month after I started snus and kept it up I would probably be a lot healthier then I am now. Still from what I was like with my asthma im a hell of a lpt better now

Snus helps with my mind for sure but exercise is an additional boost with endorphins.

On the plus side, Neon, you have a Swedish female dentist. My dentist is an Irish guy with fat hairy fingers.

If you don't like flossing - who does - I recommend getting a WaterPik. Now even my wife, who never flosses, uses it.

At least he is not a proctologist.

Due to the cost of children and living in London, I haven't been able to afford a dentist until now. So recently I've had two whopper fillings and getting a crown on Monday. I've been chain snussing for over 5 years now and the dentist had no concerns.
After that crown I need a good clean though.
Maybe you need more trips to the hygienist than other people neonmouse. I'll certainly be going very frequently myself from now on.

Greatest invention ever! I use mine twice a day every day and love it.

I haven't been to the dentist in years.

I brush twice a day and I floss everyday. But on the left side of my mouth, I have this black spot right at my gums on one of my upper teeth. I doubt it's from snus, and there's actually a class action law suit against Crest Pro Health mouthwash for doing that, but sometimes I worry it's snus.

I've been trying to get rid of it, but it just won't go away. I figure it's not from snus because any coloring snus leaves on my teeth just wipes right off.

Is it in between your teeth? I have them, it's hardened and stained plaque, caused by, you guessed it, smoking! A good clean from a hygienist gets rid of them, one of mine is where I have a divot almost in the tooth and it's just stained as everything gravitates to the divot, have to have your teeth whitened to get rid of that but it doesn't bother me so I leave it.

i also use a lot of mouth wash with chlorahexadine in it, which also stains your teeth so combine the two, you have a stubborn stain!

It's right at the top of one of the teeth I out snus on. Right at the gumline. On the front though.

I know now that it's from the same type of mouthwash, 5 gallons of diet soda a day, and whatever. It won't go away no matter how hard I try with brushing, flossing, or water picking. So it definitely sounds like hardened plaque.

I need to just go to the dentist and get a cleaning. I'll be honest and tell them that I have a wet pouch of tobacco in my mouth all of the time. Hopefully I don't end up going to an "anti all tobacco" type dentist.
