Thats true... Like with everything. Its like eating the same food everyday... Stops giving you the pleasure and tou stop feel all tastes from it. Im hooked deep cause i had depression and started smoking 1.5 pack a day to not think about problems. This amount makes me sick and couldnt stop in sadness and transitioned to snus... And started solving problem the same way... Now just limitung and limiting but will feel great with big amounts

oceter... as I suggested prior look at your diet and especially with mental issues depression/anxiety make sure you are getting good oils in your diet especially coconut oil and avoiding gluten and all vegetable and seed oils. Here is a good place to start... http://whole30.com/whole30-program-rules/

It may also help to spend as much time as you can stand outside, especially during daylight hours. Natural vitamin D from sunlight helps me with my PTSD & major depression, and may help you as well along with the info from piks101.

Thats right, but i prefer while rising bike, board etc. It helps also with anxiety and stimulates chemicals that are also controled by tobacco. Piks101... Im eating more healthy food now, not avoiding any type, also getted the 5-htp.

Trust me there are some foods you should be avoiding all together at least for now. Do the plan for 30 days with a clean diet then re introduce foods on an individual basis. Unless you are feeling great now mentally and physically your diet is off track.

Yes, I did and still follow a paleo diet, the www.perfecthealthdiet.com version which is less stringent, food taste great and is filling, have plenty of options whether at home or on the road. Lost 30 lbs, sleep better, no more acid reflux, stopped taking Prilosec, Ibuprofen, and Zyrtec which I was taking on a daily basis. Also, more energy, no mood or energy issues basically feel like I have a new lease on life.

if you can do 80/20 you will benefit. It is not a if you eat a bag of chips or brownie you have to start over. Just keep an open mind.

Ah, the addictive side of tobacco consumption, feed the beast, or fight the beast. I find those who fight.... Soon realize just how receptive the brain is to nicotine. Best of luck......!

Funny, I know a dipper who dipped for about a year on a social/occasional basis but he said he just decided to make a concerted effort to become a daily dipper otherwise he would still be an occasional dipper, if that is what he wanted. I had to laugh at that one.

This ground was just covered ad nauseam with likely the same poster about a month ago.
You couldn't be more wrong. Just hearing how someone's attempt at quitting after using for 6 years is of definite interest to users here, including me. I don't care if its his first post or 1,000,000th post. There are people here with tons of post that I wold give less credibility to then this guys 1st post. Post counts means zilch. He wrote of an experience, I have wondered what it would be like to quit, and I read someone's experience. A very valuable post for members here. Thank you OP.

You are really late to the conversation. I am good with the post and the poster which was subsequently noted on the string, if you read thru the replies up to current. However, my advise would be that if you want to know what it feels like to quit, it would be best to try quitting yourself, as everyone's experience with quitting is going to be different.

Also, I never said it was the quantity of posts but rather any quantity so that the genuineness could be determined. Obviously this couldn't be determined after one post. After Solberg followed up, I was quick to correct my initial assessment.
