Hi all,
I had an account under another name but trying to remember all of that is too hard.
So early last year I noticed unexposed root above a couple of teeth, I started using in bottom lip but.decided I had to stop otherwise I'd need a mouth full of dentures in 10 years.
The warnings are true.
I adored the snus. But when I stopped I bought nicotine lozenges. Then went back to cigarettes. Then nicotine lozenges. And back to cigarettes. And back and back again.
So. After my aunt was diagnosed with lung cancer and my.mother went to see her for the last time, I decided to quit all tobacco and nicotine.
10 weeks after her diagnosis i was at the funeral.
Now I've been nicotine free for almost 4 months and I'll never go back. No more worries about a substance controlling me.
I was addicted to nicotine since teens. If I can stop, so can you.

Does gum recession pose a threat of death? I dipped for years, and have exclusively used snus for the last three years...dentist says my mouth and gums are fine. Some people have weak gums, and get the recession, others do not.

Don't think anyone is arguing that smoking is really bad for you...

Where you a regular toothbrusher? Me wasnt and that caused a lot of problems, lots and lots of blood when i rarely brushed my teeth, What can i say im a british hillbilly. Alls good now i have started brushing 2-3 for 2 mins and use corsedel.

Even on the ecigs my gums where bleeding a lot.
