    White Sores?

So I used to dip and smoke and starting snusing general white a week and a half ago. But I'm having canker-like sores on both sides of my top gums. I had to switch sides cause 1 side was bothering me but now the other side is too. When I first started dipping the same thing happened except my bottom lip but it eventually went away...will the same thing happen? I think my top lips just aren't used to it yet.

Welcome, and it's normal. White portions are drier and a little rougher. Don't move it around a lot. Tender area goes away..

Yes it's normal, I highly suggest you to stop using white portions, this will irritate ur gums MUCH MORE than original portions. Trust me, I know what Im talking about.

I switched from a can a day of dip habit to snus about 7 years ago. For the first month or so I had those little white sores too; don't worry they'll go away.

Takes time to get used to the fiberglass:distrust:

add a bit of Bondo over the fiberglass and with a bit of sanding you will be fine AND look great.
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

                          Hahaha! Love it.

Something about General snus send to affect my mouth note than other snus. I don't get sores and stuff, but definitely different. Does General have a higher salt content? I feel like my lips tend to get chapped when I use General alot.

One of the simplest, but the most effective home remedies for bed sores is saline water which you should use to clean the affected skin.
This aims to prevent inflammation and infection that might occur to bed sores, which are very dangerous.
With anti-inflammatory and antibacterial qualities, saline water lowers the amount of excess fluid.
Furthermore, it helps to remove dead skin as well.
                            How to apply:
                            • Get salt(2 teaspoons) into water.
                            • Boil them a little until the salt dissolves completely.
                            • When the mixture is cool, get it rinse areas affected by bed sores.
                            • Leave them dry and use a bandage to cover them.

This remedy should be applied a few times per day to get the best result in bedsore treatment at home.

I have only been snusing a few days but found that I had sort of pressure sores on the first day on one side and the other came up the next day. ONLY at the front left and right though. I have found that if I fluff the white portion a bit more and take care not to compress it when putting it in, I now put the snus in with my tongue, the painful areas have all but gone even though I am still using them in rotation.
