Hey guys, new user here. I just recently made the switch from cigs to snus (General snus in particular), and I've loved it so far. I've been using the General mint, and although it has helped me get off cigs, one thing I've noticed is this very subtle, dull gum/mouth pain since I've been snus'ing. I've been using snus for not even a month; I've literally been through two cans, that's it. So very, very little.
Is this just my gums getting used to snus? I've never had a cavity, and I somehow still have perfect teeth, even from 5+ years of smoking and drinking like 6-8 Mountain Dews a day (yeah...), so I'm at loss. Like I said, I'm by no means in pain, it's just this very light dullness on my gums. I hope to one day get off snus, but for now I'm trying to get off cigs.
I've heard that this is completely normal and it is just your mouth adjusting to this foreign substance, and that it will go away once your mouth becomes used to it. Is this correct?
Thanks
