Well I actually heard somebody say the glass myth today...

But they said there was once a brand with bits of glass in it, but he was a jolly nice man so didn't really feel inclined to correct him. He had some dissolvable form of NRT so I just felt smug I had a better way of staying off the cigs.

I hear this from time to time. I don't bother arguing the point, but I just say that snus has baking soda in it to aid the nicotine delivery.

I've heard several people say that all smokeless tobaccos contains glass in order to aid in nicotine delivery (even though the clotting of blood would cause less nicotine to be absorbed). As well, people say that menthol cigarettes contain fiberglass... what would be the point in that? People will believe anything it seems.

I say these rumors you speak of contain bullshit. 8)
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

thats what happens when you have an industry that refuses to list ingredients. if people can't read ingredients on a label the imagine them.
