Snus, for the first few weeks, gave me real problems with insomnia. If you think about the difference between the nicotine drop off with cigarettes and the relatively smooth plateau with snus, you are going to have to get used to going to bed with more nic in your system than with cigs. My body did get used to this, and I have no problems now.

i went to the dentist yesterday. the snus went wonderful with the pain meds he gave me, and i had no problems getting to bed. i slept better than i have in weeks. i bet i couldn't get a doc to give me an ongoing prescription as a sleep aid lol.

I actually have a lot of dental work to get done. It isn't snus related btw. It's gonna be an expensive year. I look at the pills as a grown up version of the lolipops they use to give me for being good.

I had to have all 4 wisdom teeth removed by local anaesthetic (removed is the wrong word, try 'forced out with dentist's knees on my chest'), then I got an infection. The pain was unlike anything I've ever known, and they put me on pethadin and dihydrocodeine, I was flying.

i had all 4 of my wisdom teeth cut out in boot camp. 21 shots of novacaine and 45 minutes later they had split my gums, broke up my teeth and dug out the shards. they sewed up my gums in all four corners. gave me a tylox yes only 1, and a cup of salt to make saltwater to rinse with. the rest of the day to recover. the next day i was running 2 miles feeling my mouth throb with every beat of my heart. that was one of the worse experiences of my life. they don't offer milkshakes or anything special in the galley either. i do everything i can to make sure my mouth stays pain free after a trip to the dentist now.
