Any opinions on Onico, BacOff, et. al. ?

I'm snusing as an aid to quitting smoking, but eventually I intend to wean myself from all forms of nicotine. Has anyone tried these nic-and-tobacco free portions? I have a roll of General minis in the freezer for the "end times", as I've come to think of it, but I'd like nic-free portions to slot in there while tapering off.

    Thanks!

Onico peppermint's pretty good. It doesn't taste like tobacco snus, but it has a nice peppermint taste without sugar.

Great, thanks! I was thinking the slight mint burn might help simulate the mouth feel of a "leaded" portion.

Hmm... these may be useful to get used to no nicotine before OCS. Not allowed tobacco or anything else the entire time I'm in it. It sucks, but oh man, the rewards are so worth it.

Yup. OCS - Officer Candidate School. US Marine Corps in my case. That's provided I graduate college, which I have no intention of not doing. Otherwise I'm enlisting in the Marines. Either way, I'll have to give up tobacco for about 12 weeks.

Yeah, I'll be going nuts. But it'll be so worth it when I get my commission as a 2nd Lt.

Heh, my family and girlfriend want me to say no, but I'm more incline to say yes. Won't really know for sure just yet, though. Need to graduate first, and then I'll have more solid footing on knowing what's going to happen.

I've read some reviews that said that the Jakobssons Classic and icefruit nic/tobacco-free versions are quite tasty.

I've had the Classic, and it's pretty good. It tastes kind of like carrot cake :^D

the whole idea of tobacco free portions is captivating to me... of course they have no more effect than chewing gum or tic-tacs, yet just because of where they are placed in the mouth they cause a different emotional reaction in the user.

I think there is at least one caffeinated nicotine-free portion. That might be more effective as I've found caffeine does more than nothing to quell nicotine deprivation

They give you the mouth feel of snus, but no nicotine of course. I think they make a good, but expensive alternative to candy.

                              Hey.
I am going to Australia for a year and I'm trying to give up snus.
I wonder if it's okay if I order Onico snus to Australia - nicotine...
